What amazes me is that on each show it was blindingly obvious within 5 minutes of searching on google and Facebook that the person was lying. I don't get why the person doesn't check for themselves in the first place!

Because they are so desperate to believe this person could be the love of their life and the 'connection' they have makes it all real. The first episode with Sunny and Jamison was absolutely hilarious. There's another one with a guy who is real and looks like Robert Pattison, don't think it's been shown in the UK yet but I loved that too!

Well the OP started a thread.

Didn't hear what they wanted to hear.

    Threw a strop.

And won't be returning to it.

    The End.

OP, sorry I can't read all eleven pages. All I would say is that for your son to fly to America to meet a girl without knowing even if he's actually been talking to a girl is well, very very risky..

As said before, your son needs to watch "Catfish"
Alot of people online are not what they seem, they can easily create a fantasy life and string people along for years and years. Trust Nobody!
