I've been in her position before. I could've asked my ex for absolutely a.n.y.thing under the sun and he would've done it/bought it/whatever if it would've won me back. But by that stage it was past the point of no return.

I can't sit back and do nothing, it's not in my character. I've had no contact for 5 days and it's killing me! By the time the first card arrives we wouldn't have spoke for over a week, if she doesn't get in touch I need to hold my nerve and send the rest of the cards before surprising her on Valentines Day

In 6 years you didn't once meet her dad, who by the sounds of it doesn't live far from you.

You were desperate to fix things only last month but you let other things get in the way.

So you were neglectful for all those years, she dumped you, you then made an effort and won her back, and a month later it hit skid row again because you couldn't keep making an effort?

And now you want to make the effort again to win her back? Why would she have any faith in you left, when the same thing has gone wrong twice and this time round it fell off in a month?

You seem to only want what you can't get and neglect what you do have.
