HV came and weight Skint Baby, her tongue tie op coupled with the all night Milk Bender last night obviously paid off as she had put on 8oz in just 5 days, so she is just under birth weight now. HV said I "looked tired" (understatement of the year :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) so she would come again on Friday to weigh and complete the rest of the new birth paperwork then :)
Well done, Skint and Sbaby :T:T Hope Sbaby soon settles down to a routine with more long sleeps for her *and* you. I won't say "regular" routine because they never are :rotfl:
a fly graveyard (yes i have shamelessly stolen this phrase:eek::p:eek::p)
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :D
    Jobs for today:

When I look at what you are planning to do today, SB, it makes my list look very mean:

    - [STRIKE]S&S kitchen[/STRIKE]
    - S&S bathroom - waiting for DH to emerge
    - Contact OJM who didn't turn up yesterday so that he doesn't arrive while I'm out
    - Take DH to hospital
    - deal with OJM if he comes
    - clear paperwork off my desk so that I can...
    - ...make the bedroom curtains
    - eB@y
    - eB@y
    - eB@y
    - collect DH when he's done
    - make food as required

I have put the big frog on hold as I don't think I shall be able to concentrate properly on it today :o

Hope everyone has a productive day. That includes sleeping if you need to - 40 winks (or even 80) to boost your energy levels.

    See you later

Skint.. you have just had a baby if your aunt doesn't like it she can stay elsewhere or tidy it herself.. keep her busy!!! I hate visitors that judge you on how tidy your home is.. if your house is anything like mine it is a pit because you spend so much time being a parent not a maid! I have a diy list as long as the Great Wall of China.. it gets nibbled at.

Naughty baby up half the night again I am so glad I went to bed early. OH was not nearly so sensible and stayed up until gone 2.. she was up ay 1:30 and shut up about 3 laid across our pillows kicking him in the head.

DS3 had a 2.7 hypo at 1am so I was up checking him too.

I must be very wicked the amount of rest I get.

Has a poorly ds1 today. Had an evening at a&e yesterday. Good news his wrist is badly sprained not broken. It is only 10 sleeps until he is supposed to be going to USA skiing with school. So fast healing vibes requested please.

My finger is not better but I can now drive at least.

Wm is on. Off to look at my long list.

    Morning All!

Well done skint and baby for the weight gain :T

Wondering if anyone wants to join me today in an extra task as inspired by Piggers (I think?):

    National NoMoan Day! :D

I today am not going to moan about already having been in the office for over an hour (because it means I can finish early and pop to the shops)
I also will not moan about FIL leaving things soaking in the sink, as he very helpfully washed most up (despite me saying bung it in DW)
I will not moan about having to bring my pack up as it is saving me money and helping me lose some more weight.
I will not moan about the person I no longer have as I had him for 6 years and a very good six years at that. Better to have loved and lost, than not loved at all, yes? My mum reminds me we had more love in those 6 years than some people have in a 20 year marriage.

I especially won't moan about DD creating a fuss at bedtime and eventually sneaking in with me at 2am, as it won't be long before she's too cool for cuddles!

Back to the paid stuff and hugs for you all, helped me survive another day (again :T)

    Morning all

PenPen good luck to your DS with his interview, mine is also off to London town later for his CA interview.

DS2 still not well. Need to wake up DS3 for school and see if my friend is walking.

    Flying plan:
    Dust DS2 room
    mop floors
more tidying and dusting in the family room
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Bossymoo - enjoy everything about your kids now!

..... But DD2 still cuddles me everyday - and she's 19! And who does she want to share a bed with when she's ill? - yes me! She was a permanent fixture in our bed until the age of 9! So don't assume anything!

You lot make me feel so lazy! So far have unloaded DW, made tea for me and dd2, crumpets for me and snuck back to bed. Had shocking night due to things going bad between me and OH again :-( we had a lovely xmas and January, but things unravelled at the weekend. On a brighter no moan front :D
Today I've got a meeting over coffee with a colleague up at the hospital at 9:30 then a meeting (with lunch) 11-1 then a meeting back at the ranch at 3. Bible study at 7:30 and supper a slow-cooked beef stew, so should be able to fit in an hour of flying to catch up on yesterday and do today's list.

Well done Bossy on your overwhelming positive mental attitude (PMA) :T I will try to follow suit :p I am generally quite a positive person.

I won't moan about DH not having a job - we are spending a lot of time together (which is doing us both good) AND he is currently hoovering the hallway and stairs :T

I won't moan about Miss T's current tendancy to draw on everything (she covered her face in red pen yesterday - i had to explain to her mum that she wasn't ill!! And then she 'redecorated' her room with nail varnish last night  including her carpet - and they are due to move soon (renting):eek:) She is just learning to express herself artistically, and I need to channel it :)

Ok - next on list is breakfast for me (Miss T has had 2 breakfasts already!!) I don't have Curly P this afternoon, so that is some extra time for to tackle paperwork :T

    Catch up later x
