Evening flyladies,
Have had a very lazy day today, lazed around in bed with the cat snoring next to me. I listened to the radio and dozed a bit then thought I had better get up as it was 1pm…ooops!!! Still it has done me the world of good I actually feel semi perky..makes a change from how I normally feel when I get up at a normal time of the day..lol
I had to feed the birds as soon as I wandered downstairs, the doves looked like they were plotting how to bash my French doors down – there were three of them sitting on my whirly gig staring at me… I have had the normal amount of bird traffic as well but we have noticed that we now have a pair of asbo robins..lol A thin one and a fatter one..and they aren’t beating each other up. So we deduce they are a pair – it’s lovely. Our last robin used to bring his mate here every year, now his son is bringing his mate too Mr and Mrs Dove are nesting in the tree at the bottom of the garden again..they haven’t been there for the past two years but I noticed the other day they are taking stuff in the nook of two branches and getting all lovey dovey with each other.
Blimey Bossy you are being very productive aren’t you? You are also being a wonderful mum and I really admire your coping with everything. I know it is probably becoming raw again, especially being DH’s birthday, that is to be expected. The one thing is that you are being a fantastic mum to your two darlings.
Dusty your little boy is growing up – being asked out? Bless him.
Belated Happy Birthday to Mumof2 and Mumto5
Welcome to the newbies, hope you find the thread as helpful as we all do.
Can I just ask are any of you finding the lists too long winded when I put them up? Would you prefer shorter ones, or are they okay. I do hope you aren’t all feeling that you should do everything on the lists though.
Will pop new days list up later…Am in the middle of doing two or three things at once here..lol

I've had a very funny day - I didn't get to work until almost 11:30 am  set off in light snow to hit a blizzard on the A61 Northbound and we were at a standstill. For 40 minutes I sat with my engine off! When I did get there half the kids weren't there, some ill (still - we've been hit by a bug) and some other who couldn't make it or gave up.
Got home in 20 minutes!

A little while ago you mentioned that you wanted to cut down on some medication you'd been taking since September. I've tried various different happy pills at various different points in my life and the one thing I now know that is true for me is that when I'm feeling so much better and decide I don't need them any more - part of the feeling of feeling better is because of the happy pills and my subsequent reaction to cutting down or stopping them has been a bit frightening. I know today is a difficult and DS's reaction must have come as a shock yesterday (well spotted Valli). If you did cut down as planned, it may have made today's emotions a little more raw.
((Hugs.))
I've been taking anti ds for 10 years now - been on Citalopram and am now on Venlafaxine which seems to suit me. At times I've thought oh I'm fine, I can drop them a bit and at 1 point was convinced I could half the drugs (without GP advice - really dumb) and I spiralled downhill really quickly. I now see them as something to keep me well and honestly can't see me coming off them completely - my Warfarin keeps my blood thin and the Venlafaxine keeps my serotonin level ('feel good') right so I go with it.
Pigpen you've done loads - no wonder you're tired! What colours are you planning for Easter and where are you going to hit next?
Lame Wolf hope your paws aren't getting any worse. Are you looking forward to your new doggie guest coming?
Bossy hope you're having a pleasant evening x
Done a few bits from my list but now have some more internet based work to do and one of the chaps I work for has asked me if I want to do some extra phone work too - said OK but can't do much over half term.

Hi Natty - I'm finding the lists absolutely fine, it's my own timescales, workloads and laziness that means I've not been ticking off everything listed and nothing to do with the length of them - I actually like a lot of things as I tend to pick and choose what I am capable of, whereas if it was a short list, I'd tick it all off and then come to a standstill.
Maybe someone else may prefer a shorter list, but for me, your format works perfectly well.

I'm not sure.. DD2 hasn't decided though we haven't discussed it. She doesn't want to share her room or move into the little room but I really can't fit the 2 babies in the tiny room. If the 2 babies settle between the 2 bathrooms I have some fairy wallpaper can go up. If they don't I will put the 2 girls in there and probably get away with leaving it as it is
I need to finish my room first it is going to take the rest of the week at least! But it is the understair cupboard next then the kitchen I think.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi there
A quick post from me to send warm wishes to Bossymoo, and the little Moos, for today. I do hope all the love and good vibes coming from this thread help lift your spirits even just a little, Bossy.
Good health wishes, too, for all those feeling poorly or low.
Lots of you have been so busy but I've had an easy day here! I'd swapped my work day today for tomorrow, and had lunch with three friends and afternoon tea and cake with another (the first of five this week!). It was lovely to catch up, but like other fly ladies, I woke up to hail, snow, sleet and high, high winds! It's been a shocking day, today, weather-wise.
I S&S the kitchen and bathroom, and tidied a little this morning, but had had two really good flying days previously, with some if what was on the lists being done, so we are not too bad at all.
We have a friend skyping us soon, so will be off for now. See you tomorrow, R x0 -

Oh they really do, thank you :T
And, Honey, bonnie and mumof2, thanks for the advice about the meds, I haven't cut them down yet, I actually go back to the doc on Thursday to discuss it. It's the first time I've used anything like this, and was just saying to MIL that I didn't know what was me feeling better and what was the meds. And the doc said not to change anything without their help. There's been a few occasions where I've forgotten a tablet. A couple of months ago I could "tell" but more recently I don't notice. Anyway, I'll see what they Thursday, but thanks for thinking of me. You guys are all fab friends :A
An easy evening here, FIL enjoyed his tea, and has washed up after, MIL is chasing DD back to bed. I'll put my lunch together for tomorrow and have a quick shower before bed. An early start tomorrow.

Evening everyone
I've just caught up on the thread - didn#t turn the comp on yesterday at all and for today I turned it on about an hour ago - its
a-maze-ing what I can get done if I'm not on here lol
DH and I cleared out lots of rubbish from the garage - 2 runs to the skips and a car full for the CS and it took most of the day as we moved a couple of bits of furniture around too
Today I have been clearing several hotspots out in the Kitchen and have rearranged a couple of areas too - that took most of the day as well
LW - gentle hugs
Bossy - lots of hugs for you, the children and your in laws too
Sorry of I've not mentioned anyone I should of!
Pigpen - well done on clearing space at the Rad
Skint - hope the carpenter does a good job for you

Hi everyone.
I made a start on the kitchen but like everything else is a big job so never got all done, but baby steps.
The major (for me) thing that did was clean the oven which two cleans but is now sparkling. And when was waiting for dinner cooking I cleared out fridge and washed it down. Oh and also made a list of everything in food cupboard.
So in all feel had a productive day. Roll on tomorrow.
