I don't remember ever having a cuddle with my mother and I was about 6 last time I cuddled my dad I think..

I'm obviously having an emotional day... this made me cry! :o
I didn't have a very tactile relationship with either parent growing up but used to get to cuddle my grandpa lots.. I think it's for that reason I hug my wonderful boys everyday & tell them I love them too, they're 9 & 12 and don't mind at all, even in front of friends!! :)

On the flylady front, doing well.. ironing done and packed away, airing cupboard clear for the first time in ages :D
Dishes done, dried and packed away and sides wiped down.. need to hoover and wash floor. :)
I'm going away for the weekend so I'm packing and clearing up bits as I go ;)

I've been taking anti ds for 10 years now - been on Citalopram and am now on Venlafaxine which seems to suit me. At times I've thought oh I'm fine, I can drop them a bit and at 1 point was convinced I could half the drugs (without GP advice - really dumb) and I spiralled downhill really quickly. I now see them as something to keep me well and honestly can't see me coming off them completely - my Warfarin keeps my blood thin and the Venlafaxine keeps my serotonin level ('feel good') right so I go with it.

Lame Wolf hope your paws aren't getting any worse. Are you looking forward to your new doggie guest coming?
Thanks, not too bad as long as the splints are on; problems start when I have to do a wet task and therefore have to remove the splints (I cannot, however hard I try, get on with rubber gloves). Yes, looking forward to Mary-Fairy-Fuzzy-Butt, even with her "wee" problems - I have a huge pile of broadsheet newspaper saved up!:D
Btw, I've been on anti-d's for 40 years now - and no, that' not a typo! Not a snowball's chance in hell of me ever getting off them now, methinks.

I will not moan about the person I no longer have as I had him for 6 years and a very good six years at that. Better to have loved and lost, than not loved at all, yes? My mum reminds me we had more love in those 6 years than some people have in a 20 year marriage.
Aww, you nearly had me crying into my dish of melon; you know, while he lives in your heart, he's not truly gone, my friend.:o And I do agree with your mum; having had a 20 year marriage from hell, and now seeing for myself what a good, loving marriage can be.... oh, for goodness sake, I'm rubbish with the putting-the-words-together-and-making-sense thing, but I think you get what I mean.:o

OK stopping typing now; pins & needles back in fingers.

    Hi All

Well didn’t get much done last night, only daily & nightly stuff, was nearly 7 by time I finished dinner then had kids baths to do so was ready for flopping on the couch.
I Will get back on track tonight as I have been having a quick tidy up each morning before work as I am late starting 3 days this week.

Just been on the phone to my bank, I was online trying to pay a bill & it kept coming back saying card had been declined, was put through to the fraud squad, apparently the Police have retrieved a card skimming device from a machine or someone has been apprehended who has my card details!!! I did get my bag stolen with purse etc last year but I don’t imagine the card number would have been the same, I think it’s perhaps a dodgy machine!? I was trying to buy something from I-tunes the other night and kept saying my details were wrong, now I know why. MUST CHANGE MOBILE NUMBER ON ONLINE BANKING!!!! I only called them because my card was declined!!!

BOSSYMOO!!! Did you see my post RE TV combi??? Did you try it and if so did it work? x

Lame Wolf, nice to see you back for a little bit - Mary-Fairy-Fuzzy-Butt is a funny name! Sorry about the wee problem but at least you'll be prepared with all the papers won't you. Let's hope she doesn't do what Pip did today - roll in a very alluring (so she says) pile of fox poo and then with running through the mud/cow poo/slurry type mess all in the fields she was disgusting. I'm not joking when I say I was almost heaving when I gave her a shower afterwards. Sure you don't want her for a while?!!

Macpep1 I can't believe people have the gall to pinch credit cards and then try to use them but I think I am rather naieve.

MrsGibbs my Mum never had much in the way of affection as a girl (her Mum died when Mum was young, her Dad remarried someone who was very cold) so Mum always hugged and cuddled us a lot and I do the same with mine. I only get to see my Mum a few times a year so when we do we always have a hug :).

OK, no good I'm going to have to go and clear out the chooks now. Seems like all I've done today is clear away animal mess . I'm hoping later to try out the Kenwood Chef and make a cake as got a friend coming around later but will see how the time goes.
