((((Penny Pincher))))
I have sent you a p.m. (not nasty) to say I was shocked that someone would be so petty as to tell you what you are allowed (in their opinion) to say on a public forum!
You are too nice for your own good! I would have reported them!
We did offer to make up a posse of old stylers for somone before ( all swinging our handbags and microfibre clothes.) LOL!
May the person concerned never have to find out what it is like to be in constant pain and/or exhausted all day and every day!
((((Ticklemouse))))
Hang on in there - it will get better. You deserve for things to be sorted out for yourself and your family and we are all sending good wishes to you.
Having a quiet day and making egg fried rice for tea-was going to do this yesterday but it turned into chicken salad!

Hello again everyone
Well, I took the soft option and hopped back into bed for another couple of hours. I actually feel refreshed now, hurrah!! I'd forgotten what that feels like as it has been ages since the last time I felt like this.
PennyPincher - don't you worry about your posts and what you put in them, there is nothing wrong with them at all. IMO they are perfectly fine, and I know that most (evidently not all!) people on here are genuinely concerned for you and wish you well. Please keep us up to date! And good for you for resisting naming and shaming whoever it was who sent that PM, you have integrity.
Ticklemouse you do sound down and stressed - your current situation is temporary and this phase will be behind you in due course. One day at a time and all that...
Goodie two shoes me has already got a load of washing out in the back garden, emptied and refilled the dishwasher (yes that means that dishes were lying all over the place awaiting an empty DW), emptied kitties' litter tray, and had a bit of a tidy up. I'm going to get a boogie on now and do some vacuuming. My long haired kitty Teddy must have had a mad moulting five minutes in my bedroom - the carpet was clean on my first rising this morning, but now there are big clumps of ginger hair all over the place, so they need removing asap.
Shez - the packets of seeds I bought say to sow them March or April or May - I got spring onions, rocket, parsley, radishes and some others but they are downstairs and I can't remember what they are. TBH I don't pay full attention to packets of anything, and don't normally have failures. Obviously I don't try sowing things at Hallowe'en but if it's near enough the correct time of year then I give it a bash regardless.
Kyle, I hope your gum gets sorted out sooner rather than later. It's obviously causing you a lot of bother, so fingers crossed they get on with it.
I'm off now to do some more pottering about and houseworky stuff...Oh I love days off sooooo much!!

The sun has come out and the temperature is rising.........OH is going to clean out the car and then wash it ready for our jaunt....... I have decided not to be OS and buy parsley and cheese sauce mix from Mr T cannot be bothered to measure out flour etc to take. I need to make a crumble mix and put it in a jar in the fridge to take, hoping for some lucious fruit from the markets for dessert, might weaken and buy the REAL french creme caramel, they do it ssssssssssooooooooooo well. We will also indulged in a couple of strawberry tarts after supper one night.........they are yummy..........
Parcel still sitting in the hall awaiting collection, they better had come......I emailed the chap to say it would be with him Friday.
Gradually getting my brain into gear, its taking its time I can tell you.......keep crossing bits off the lists and then find something else I need to put on the list.........at the rate we are going I'll need a trailer.
Not much going on, apartment was cleaned on Momday, did the bathroom last night after we had out bath............until the carpeneter comes I cannot do anything with the kitchen....its beginning to get on my nerves a bit, but carpeneter is very biusy, so will have to curb my impatience......and hope that he can come after we get back from France.
Off to have my cold lamb with tomato's, coleslaw and a slice of bread and butter..oooooooooppppppppppsssssssss will have to make another loaf tomorrow........we seem to eat so much more when its home made......Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Just popped on to catch up while having coffee.
<<ticklemouse>> It's really hard to see the light when you are in the middle of a horrible situation, especially when "everything" seems to be going wrong. It WILL get better. You WILL get another buyer, you WILL find another property, and the one you eventually get will be better than the one you missed ot on. These things happen for a reason. If you don't mind me asking, what plans does your H (can't really say DH) have for moving out? Thinking about Moggins' experience, maybe he should start sorting out his stuff now!
<<Shez>> Sorry to hear about the setback at work.
Oh, Mioliere how's the breadmaking going? I have another recipe for you to try, this one has a divine crust.
Farmhouse Loaf. This is the 500g flour recipe,(the 375g recipe amounts for a smaller loaf are in brackets)
320ml water (210ml)
425g strong white flour (350g)
75g strong wholemeal flour (25g)
1.5 tablesp skimmed milk powder (1 tablesp)
1.5 teasp salt (1.5 teasp - same)
1.5 teasp granulated sugar (1.5 teasp - same)
25g butter (1/2 oz)
1 teasp easy blend yeast (three quarters of a teasp)
* Put the ingredients in your breadmaker in the usual order. (For a Panny, you put the yeat in, then the flour, then the other dry ingredients, then the water. Not sure what the order is for your BM).
* Use the normal setting (not wholemeal)
* TEN MINUTES BEFIRE THE BAKING TIME COMMENCES (on a Panny's normal 4 hour cycle, baking starts 3h 10mins so we would do this at after 3h), brush the top of the loaf with water, dust with strong white flour, and then slash the top of the bread with a sharp knife.
Slashing the loaf changes the way it rises, so you get a really rustic look. The flour dusting gives a really fab texture to the crust.
Have a good afternoon everyone
xx

Hi everyone!
Hugs to those who need them!
OS today....dark wash out and OH has hoovered through for me as I had to leave early with the small person for his residential trip. The school rang me last night and asked me to bring in his booster seat....along with all his other bits [they all look like they're going away for a fortnight!!] and bloomin' typical the car had to be elsewhere with OH. Fortunately ran into a friend who offered to take his luggage up for me. No doubt the small person will arrive home on Friday somewhat grubbier and wearing somebody else's pants! We'll spend the next couple of days tracking down his stuff and returning misc items to their rightful owners:rotfl: :rotfl:
No cooking tonight:j as am off to Ma and Da's for supper. Poor old Mum had to go back to hospital yesterday following her fall off her bike last week as the screw from her glasses was still embedded in her forehead:eek: All cleaned up and stitched up now thank goodness. Most disappointed that I will no longer be able to rib her about having a screw loose!!
Post supper I'm off to the pub with OH and the other bell ringers. Woo hoo..out on the razzle!! No doubt shall still be tucked up in bed by 10.30:D
Have a great day

Pen Pen congratulations on your 2000th post
Shez sorry you're not having a very good day, try not to get upset just keep telling yourself it's not worth the energy.
Couldn't face doing the conservatory windows this morning so made 2 cards instead and wrapped some presents. Washing dried on line so ironed it then watched loose women while having lunch.
DH just gone back to work so I'm off to make a coffee and think about the pasta bake i'm making for tea. Might make some scones aswell while oven is on

Hi everyone. Just popping back for a few minutes while the iron heats up – yes, it’s on and I’m definitely going to get it done today. I think it’ll take me all afternoon and I’d much rather be on here! I think for my next ironing session, I’ll arrange for you all to come and keep me company! I’ll make sandwiches with DANNAHAZ’s bread and AMIE’s Weetabix Brownies and a nice cuppa. The ironing won’t seem such a chore and, you never know, because I know you will all be experts, I might ask you each to iron something! What a b****y cheek, I hear you all say! Wishful thinking on my part!
It’s being a lovely day today. The sun has been shining all morning and I’ve got loads of washing dry; I’ve been to the bank for DH, then tried to find a freezer marker pen and could I find one? No! I did find one of those pineapple corer things that Tchibo had a couple of months ago and sold out of when I decided to go back and get one! I think it was £6.99 – I bought one brand-new in the charity shop for .10p! :j :j Unbelievable – I think the ladies didn’t know what it was so put it in the toy box even though it has a nasty circular saw thing on the bottom!  They were really surprised when I told them what it was! I resisted the urge to buy a pineapple because I have loads of fruit to use up first. :money: :money: I have made some HM beefburgers for tea which we’ll have with the rest of last night’s salad and the rest of the new boiled potatoes which I’ll slice and sauté. I have prepped some plums but haven’t decided what to do with them yet. If I can’t think of anything inventive I’ll just stew them! I did loads of cooking yesterday and filled the freezer with lots of HM soup and other odds and s*ds! DH has gone off happily with his sandwiches made with HM bread and two different flavours of yoghurt cake. I’ve just had a cheese and tomato sandwich and a slice of Northumbrian Loaf (Queenie’s recipe, I think).
Had a quick read of yesterday’s thread – SAMSAM – I’ll look forward to the magazine each month! PATENTGIRL – GOOD LUCK with the BM!. SMOKY – hope your LO gets better real soon; that’s a horrible illness to have. (((hugs))) to her. DONNY-GAL – glad your veins are OK but hope you get to the bottom of the problem soon. BARGAIN – I loved your Delia’s Way post! KYLE - good luck with your gum problem! SNOWY – so glad you’re feeling good! SHEZ – hope you’ve found the time and peace to de-stress. My last job was awful – I felt stressed all the time! Leaving there was one of the best things I have ever done, believe me.
Can’t believe how many of you are having your hair done! Due to the march - or perhaps it’s the quick-step - of time, I have to resort to the bottle but, fortunately, my DH puts it on for me. He’s very patient and does a really thorough job – he took over when he saw me doing it myself and couldn’t believe how I rushed it. I find it quite relaxing. I only have it trimmed at the hairdresser’s – it’s about half-way down my back and I have been told by someone (who is no longer my friend !) that I should have had it cut years ago because long hair is only for the young! I’ve always had it long and just don’t feel ready to go short yet!
Anyway, the iron is screaming at me now so I’d better go.
Oh, just one question for my eBay Expert, CRAZYCHIK – do you have to ask PayPal to put your takings into your current account? Having proudly sold six items on Thursday I expected the money to have gone in by now. All the payments were confirmed by PayPal on Friday. Or am I just being impatient? :confusedCheers.
Hope everyone has a lovely afternoon – will look in when I have FINISHED the ironing!

Enjoy your holiday Csarina its a lovely time of year to be going to France with the nights getting longer too.
((hugs))TMhold on in there!
Thanks Mioliere going to try to Osteopath route but cant get in before Tuesday lunch(did I say patience was not a virtue I hold!). I've reversed the process on hair, always had it short, now in my mid-50's grown it, and turned blonde - well my head says I'm only 25 and I'm not going to argue with myself now am I! :rotfl: :rotfl: On the ironing front, you may change your mind if you saw me iron!:o
Smoky how is LO?
Amie - have you got lost today?Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
