Recently nearly complete a purchase for good totally £16, only to find cheapest delivery £9 for 21 DAYS, 5 Day Delivery was £20+.

Having just watched our Ministers shout at each other across the room in the houses of Parliament it is quite evident that the Prime Minister has received the questions he is about to face and has the answers to every question which he then reads out to the house, it is purely a performance.
In the age of emailing why can't the questions be on a forum like this one which is successful. The powers to be could email the answers and we could all join in the discussions.
The time wasters which either fall asleep or gaze up to the ceiling (yes I am talking about you Nick Clegg notably gazing at the ceiling on 27.02.13), could go home and have a rest. We would not require their services anymore and the ministers and staff which do a good job could be carrying out their duties rather than wasting time listening to matters which have nothing to do with their department.
If I had a pound my children have come home and complained about having to wait 3 hours to listen to everyone discuss their project at university when they could have been productive during this time I would be rich, I am sure it's the same for those MP's.
We could immediately cut the wages bill of the Houses of Parliament and save thousands.
We would also see all questions there would be no way of hiding agenda's which either party did not want to discuss publicly.
I am not at all political but very practical and I thoroughly hate wasted time, after all time is money..............quite a lot on some salaries.0 -
Require any new commercial or residential developments to mitigate their impact on local roads and parking facilities by funding improvements to infrastructure, such as adding lanes, traffic lights, or new roads as necessary. Require them to provide off-road parking for 100% of projected vehicle count.0

Finding a dentist who accepts NHS patients is nearly impossible. If a dentist who has trained within the NHS at the expense of the UK taxpayer wishes to refuse NHS patients in preference to private work, they should repay the cost of their training through the tax system._______________________

Two things.... dentists will already qualify with around £60,000 debt and have treated patients on the NHS during their training. They will then go on to pay tax and national insurance throughout their working lives wherever they work and most will work at least a few years in the NHS except those for whom there are no training places who may be forced to work abroad as they cannot work in the NHS without doing one year in additional training ( 145 dentists this year qualified with no training place available).
Secondly that would be fine if everyone else going to university had to do the same eg architects on seven year courses could only work for the government, vets on a five year course ditto.0 -
Make caravan owners pay a road usage tax/duty. This could be done via the DVLC / DVLA thus creating jobs and revenue.0

The government intend to bring tax allowances up to the same level as that currently given to pensioners however pensioners start to lose the allowance if their income is over £26,100 (this tax year) this reduction should be removed as it will not be applied to those working.0

If a person pays cash for work done (not on the books) and the worker is found out, fine the person who has paid for the work to be done. This will enable workers to submit correct tax returns and stop the cowboy builder/worker economy.0

Local and central governments "update" their stationery, vans and buildings with there name and mission statement. Who cares? A standard logo, or even none at all, would save millions nationally, or thousands locally.0

Too many times the phrase 'where's my compo' is heard. Let these people have their moment of glory, they have won but limit the compensation to one or two pence.0
