Ban poorly maintained and dangerous foreign trucks from entering the UK. Containers could be collected from ports by UK haulage firms that have paid UK fuel duty. Dangerous trucks off our roads; more jobs; more revenue; less stowaways!0

People on a night out who get absolutely hammered on drink & drugs, then because they pass out need an ambulance should be charged. The Ambulance must still attend, but because its self inflicted through drink or drugs, they get a £400 bill. May think next time!0

There is such a large difference between 20% and 40% tax that people use avoidance tactics because they are worth doing. By introducing more income tax bands at 10% intervals, the efforts & costs for avoidance will be reduced, so more tax revenue will be obtained.
If worthwhile, this could be extended to income tax bands such as:
Up to £10,000 income = no tax
£10,000 - £20,000 = 10% tax
£20,000 - £30,000 = 20% tax
£30,000 - £40,000 = 30% tax
£40,000 - £50,000 = 40% tax
Over £50,000 = 50% tax0 -
Many retails hide their delivery charges ot the last possible minute and then hit you with a hefty fee if you want anything like a fair delivery period.
Recently nearly complete a purchase for good totally £16, only to find cheapest delivery £9 for 21 DAYS, 5 Day Delivery was £20+.
Crazy, should be up front like C/Card charges.0 -

A few reports to SPAM from different users should block the sim pending verification. It would make it impossible for them. Also block overseas call centres and networks with high volumes of unsolicited calls breaching the TPS. It would force network operators and VoIP providers to police their networks better.
Enforce customer support centres to use free cumber
Customer support centers should be accessible via free number by customers as they are already paying the service provider. It is especially unfair to use 0845 numbers with banks and mobile companies.0 -

Stop giving out benefits as cash. Give people a vouchers or a type of credit card that can only be used for what the benefits are intended for and not alcohol, gambling, junk food etc.
In the States they give out food stamps and this seems like a much more fair system. Tax payers don't have to support recipients' for anything but necessities and recipients' dependents aren't cheated out of food.
I feel like tighter control is needed in the benefits area, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who does.0 -
We are all aware that the energy companies are busy digging up roads all over the country to concentrate on "infrastructure". Could it be that this rapid spending is to reduce the already disgusting profits announced today. Persistent price rises at a time when the vulnerable are in energy poverty. Shouldn't a government be looking closely at these unwarranted price rises. Or more whitewash as seen with the petrol price investigation.0

Eradicate poverty. Pay every UK citizen an unconditional basic income. The Unconditional Basic Income Guarantee will give people the time and the freedom to do stuff just for the love of it. Boosting the economy, creating more social enterprise and a dynamic fulfilled society.0

Leaseholders are being held to ransom by Freeholders when trying to extend the lease on a property especially when the lease is less than 80 years remaining. There needs to be a review of the leasehold extension system in order that it is fair for all property owners/leaseholders.0
