Many unempoyed state that there are not enough jobs to go around, those paid job seekers allowance are expected to spend everyday actively looking for work, we all know the so called playstation generation are clearly not looking for work 24/7, not enough jobs.
Therefore those claiming job seekers allowance should be pulled into working on community service projects for 2 days per week as part of their payments, I am sure every town has plenty, litter picking and street cleaning that is no longer done by local authorities, as many have beaches that need to be cleaned to earn back prestigious blue flags to boost tourism. There are always jobs to be done, perhaps a little extra work would encourage a greater response to job seeking and if not the community work will benefit the entire country at the very least.0 -

1./ Incorporate vehicle licence fees into fuel price. We don't need a government department for this tax. ( Savings in not having to send every vehicle owner a 'Tax Due' reminder letters every 6 months/ 1year would be considerable too. )
2./ Why have average interest rates on credit card balances gone up
so much in the past 7 years or so, especially seeing that the Bank of England rate has been .5% since March, 2009?0 -
The Government obviously funds an amount per child into public schools, whilst I cannot afford to place my children into private education, it may be something that can be afforded if I had the option to withdraw the funding from the public school and put it toward the private school fees.
This change would surely make private schools more affordable and then focus public schools and force them to try harder to retain pupil membership in a way not previously encountered.0 -
The credit age has created a money-illiterate generation. Teach children the value of money and the importance of saving by incorporating money-management in all aspects of the curriculum from Primary school upwards. Make it second-nature once again.0
