Very difficult to drive when you're stuck behind a car with a tinted rear window so dark you can't see ahead of them.
  • Discounts and Loyalty points for baby formula

Infant formula should not be exempt from supermarket promotions or loyalty points. Breast or bottle feeding is a personal choice and those bottle feeding should not be penalised.

If a British person applies for a job and is suitably qualified/experienced, they should be offered it before any non-British applicant.
  • The CTW scheme is a great idea, to allow people to buy a bike and equipment without paying VAT and having the payments taken off of earnings pre tax, but only people in a full time job can take advantage, greatly penalising those in zero hours and part time contracts which are becoming more and more common. Why not let councils administer it through the council tax system and open it up to all. Or drop VAT on bicycles completely?!
  • Please try to stop ISA providers refusing transfers...if they provide them they should accept any from any other provider!
  • All public sector pensions should have the same conditions - they all come from the same pot after all. At present, police only have to work 25 years to take home a 50% of salary pension (teachers 40 years & some MPs just 1 day!) The contributions also vary to the same degree - they should all be the same, recompense should be in salary.

We shiver at the mercy of our suppliers
The cost of heating oil never goes down even when the prices of crude or petrol fluctuate.
    Who notices our plight?

The VAT on labour is essentially an unfair tax burden on sole traders who supply labour AND goods. eg Engineer who supplies and fits boilers/ central heating. If he does 4 jobs per month he will have to register for VAT and charge an extra 20% for his labour in comparison to unregistered & black market.

So someone who pays VAT has to work 5 weeks to have the same money as someone who who does not - and they both pay income tax anyway.

  • Council housing is for the needy until they can get back on their feet, it should not be sold it is sorely needed - just look at the waiting lists. Also, some abuse the system and own another house whilst living in council accommodation, this should be illegal.
