Banks do not offer good interest rates to Trusts. As a result Charities and disadvantaged individuals who have money administered for them are further disadvantaged as the best rates of interest are not available to them. This is a scandalous situation and should be stamped on hard.
  • Just replace it with an extra, clearly labelled, tax on fuel.
That way those who have uneconomical cars, or use them more, or drive uneconomically, pay more tax - much fairer!

It also does away with the administrative costs of the DVLA road tax department
  • Support is needed to convince MPs to change the frozen pension rule for pensioners living in Australia, Canada, South Africa etc. but not in the USA and many other countries.
After working and paying National Insurance for the necessary years for a full pension in the UK if you decide to retire to certain countries your pension is frozen at the level you first receive it.
Most unfair when Pollies change their stance when they achieve power.
  • Disabled parking spaces in supermarkets should be enforced. Many spaces are used by drivers with big SUV's as the spaces are wider. Although physically disabled I have to walk through snow and rain while SUV drivers are parked at the door. Could there be a barrier where you need a token, obtained by showing the disabled badge in store, to exit?

Quite agree with this also can never understand why people like Tesco have Disabled spaces so far from the shop when the Parent and Child spaces are right at the door, yes they need wider spaces but why do they need to be next to the shop when the people that really need to be there are expected to walk a long way
  • Borough and County Council Planning Departments should be the next organisation to be investigated for mal-practice. Having recently sat through a morning witnessing a Planning Meeting as a member of the public, I found it disturbing to see how the people we elect to look after our interests and make decisions can be influenced by applicants who have the knowledge to manipulate the system to gain approval of their application, where others submitting a similar application would be refused.

Particularily SKY & Car insurance, but a lot of other companies won't let you suspend your contracts. You often get little notice that you are being sent to defend your country for 4-6 months but still have to pay for SKY TV (if locked in a contract obviously) and your car insurance whilst away (despite the car being on a locked military base)!

Vodafone have taken the lead by letting you suspend your phone contract but others are making thousands out of people who are risking their lifes for the country. There should be an exception for such people like myself.

    Stop direct marketing calls.
I have registered with the telephone preference service to stop these calls. I have recieved yet again a "Your computer has sent us and error.....!" Why are people in the own home troubled by these digusting scammers? Why is allowed? I want to be able to sit in my own home in peace instead of being harrassed. They pray upon the vulnerable, but also anyone could fall for it as they are clever theives. It must stop!
  • Ban all Government,Local Athority and Public Owned Bodies from using with-held Telephone Calling. The TPS to be given and the
Telephone Operating Companies Compeled By Law to Regulate and Prosecute the mis-use of the system by any Organisation.
This will Remove the need for the Police Service to Find & Prosecute the Fraudsters. Saving TAX PAYERS MONEY ON POLICE JOLIE's chasing the Fraudsters.:money:
  • Bring p-2-p lending into the financial fold. Licence and regulate the companies. Allow losses to be tax deductible and eventually provide compensation, if companies go under, even if this reduces returns. Let them compete with banks more effectively.

The short-term 'pay-day' lending industry has exploded in recent years and is just a modern version of back-street money lenders.

This industry desperately needs regulation to ensure that unscrupulous lenders do not take advantage of vulnerable people. These companies should not be allowed to operate like this in the UK.

    I agree wholeheartedly
