  • Child benefit for 1st child only
Scrap the new system - which is expensive to administer and penalises those parents where 1 of them stays at home/works part-time. The 1st child is generally the expensive one so pay child benefit to all families for the 1st child only.

  • London does not need another airport. Give all other airports flights to destinations not already covered ie Newcastle residents have to travel to London to fly to North America and Canada, WHY?
  • It would appear the doorstep salespeople with a Welfare to Work badge are legitimate and sent by the jobcentres to cold call at the doorstep, often haranguing the occupier- who may be of little means themselves!
  • All parking meters should accept credit cards
We don't all carry the exact change needed for each different-charging parking meter so meters that accept credit cards or even a pre-payment council-based card would make life easier and avoid parking fines.

I think a national award scheme, a bit like the honours system but broader could be launched. This could be for carers, lollypop people, vounteers in their community, etc. Reward would be a telegram from the queen, blue peter style badge.

I am an at home carer for my Mum. I have no choice in this and it is a possition anyone could be put in. I get of £58.45 a week. This is what I live of. Not a penny more. It is all I can get. Do you fancy living of this small amount for giving up on a normal life and adopting a life of stress.
    Give carers a decent wage!
  • ...and get rid of ignorant, prejudiced whining at a stroke.
  • Scrap 0845 telephone numbers in governmental institutions. The lines should be free of any premiums.
  • I was a carer for a couple of years loved the job but could not afford to keep it up as pay was horrific I would give all my evening and weekends up 7 days a week for £110 a week after tax. just insulting for what carers actually do as well as that you have nurses come in when your there getting paid £30k asking if you can help them insulting. a carer should have a min £16k I didnt even make that in nearly 2 years

Do more to stop benefit fraud. People claim benefits for years without problems and we're talking millions and millions of pounds. As usual genuine new claimants suffer for the life long scroungers.

Stop mobility cars. Ive got a bad back and knees and I have to pay for my own car to get to work. How did all this start anyway. Why should anyone get a free new car every 3 years, free insurance, tax etc. Look at the majority of mobility cars and the drivers/ passengers can walk just fine once they get in the supermarket.

Stop all immigration even from the EU unless they have a job, a house and can speak English. All immigrants should have to take out private health care and no benefit claiming for at least 3 years of working in this country.
