Yes, it's annoying. I shifted my allegiance from QuidCo to Topcashback several years ago because QuidCo often seemed to have tracking problems. Sadly, things don't seem to have improved.

There's an NPower offer which is about the same price for me as the M&S one, but has the advantage of having no cancellation charge. So in the absence of the £100 cashback that would be a better choice.

I'm also unsure which way to jump!

I've seen poor feedback on NPower for their customer service, I'm going to go with M&S in a week or two unless something better comes along and go through TCB.

I know you were asking earlier about delaying your switch so that it didn't happen until your current deal expired. FWIW M&S told me on the phone, that switches usually take 6 weeks.

Hi,I normally wait at least a week to ten days before putting in a claim but it depends on the purchase and whether you have enough information to enter one.

If you buy from ,say, Zavvi you have an order/invoice number to complete a claim however when switching utilities you usually don't get your customer number for several weeks so as long as you manage to enter a claim within the 45 day window you should have no problems.

My longest wait was Admiral car insurance where the cashback didn't track come though for nearly 12 months.

On the other hand I have had one cashback with mobiles.co.UK come though to payment in 26 days.

OK thanks. It wasn't obvious from the QuidCo site that it might to ask for customer numbers etc. I was a little reluctant to hit the 'i confirm' button to the question "Please confirm that you understand the process and wish to submit a missing cashback claim", just in case that actually submitted the claim! Though I see now that it doesn't.

I'm in the same boat. Did the process on Sunday night (2 hours before it ran out), and still not tracked on Quidco.

I also had the "couldn't email you" message.

Not sure what to do now :-\

Me too. Same day, time and message. Only when I phoned M&S on Monday, they claimed to know nothing about any e mail problem:( They suggested I wait until Thurs and ring again!!! Thread suggests there's more of us out there! Price still the best without the cash back but that's not the point. Time to put Quidco and the cash back process to the test.
Only consolation is M&S use SSE and they generally have better customer service than most; switch to NPower though at your peril!

I applied on 2/sept, also via quidco, got the same message from mands regarding their e-mail error, which was shortly followed by a e-mail, they were obviously having some glitch with their system.
I got my first letter from m and s today showing supply details and dd amounts, so at least I have some proof of my application.
Regarding the cashback my visit to m and s site has been recorded, but as of yet my deal has not been tracked, having read some of the reviews about m and s cashbacks on quidco I really doubt wether I will ever see the £100!!
As others have said it is still a good deal but the cashback would be great.
I shall wait a few days before I put in a manual tracking claim,It does not look like claim details need an account number.

We are also waiting for quidco to track after applying on Sunday. We got email problems message but when I logged in my email I had one for me to activate my account with so I presumed that was the email they were having problems with ?

Didn't the £100 QuidCo deal expire on 1st September?

No, I don't think so. I got the account activation email too. The on-screen message was referring to a 'confirmation' email.
