    I have also had an easy switch to their 12 month fixed deal. Looks OK so far. Hopefully won't experience your troubles, suspect they've been inundated with new customers. Still no excuse for not addressing foul ups like that though. At least you've got a free exit! :)

    I have been a fan of OVO and a customer for a few years now but recently their problems with billing me correctly has raised a few concerns.

    Essentially, they seem unable to sort out my Gas account after they mistakenly allowed my account to be transfered out. This was in November 2013. After a number of calls and promises they are still unable to bill me correctly. Their billing department seems to be unable to re-instate an erroneously transferred account.

    I really hope they are not using a version of the Npower billing software!!:eek:

    Still don't understand OVO's monthly statement "system" -I gave readings on Sunday 29th June in answer to their email reminder ~ 25th June.
    Just logged in to find estimated reading for electricity for June 30th ,with a note "because we haven't receved readings from you............" -but my readings for 29th are also showing!!!
    For gas, no estimated reading is showing!

    I gave readings in response to their email on the 7th, got a statement dated the 14th using my readings then estimates for the 14th (which were very close to my own readings for that day anyway). You would think they'd send an email and then produce a statement in response to the readings provided.
    Might play around with it this month and see if I can hit their preferred date bang on, rather than respond to their email...

    You would think so, but that clearly didn't work for brewerdave.:)

    The only way that works for me is to give the meter reading on the same day as the statement, now always the last day of the month.

    Checking MyOVO just now, they haven't been able to produce a statement this month so have produced an invoice, the details of which I can't see...and I can't make any usage figures ( either theirs or mine) give the value of the invoice!! plus the balance shown doesn't make any sense..Oh dear!
