OK, that is a Windows issue, nothing to do with the Modem / Router, you will probably get a better response on a general computer forum.
Sorry I cannot be of more help.;)0 -
Bought the set up and it was fine until connection when it asked for the user name and password. I presumed as I am on Ntl broadband that it would be my ntl user name and password and I also changed the ISP to ntl ,but still can't get connected.
Any suggestions0 -

This might be the u/n and p/w to access the router. Check the paperwork/instructions. Not sure what it will be with your router, but with netgear the defaults are admin and password. Once connected to the router you can then change the u/n and p/w to that of your own choosing.Bought the set up and it was fine until connection when it asked for the user name and password. If you are on NTL ( Virgin ) Cable, this will not work, it is ADSL.
If you are on Virgin ADSL, ( using a BT Line ) you need to enter your complete NTL/ Virgin User ID, you should have that safely stored somewhere.;)0
