I've already mentioned that they actually requested nothing from you. They probably don't need anything and so would rather just spend time with you as a friend. How is that being aggressive? It's a compliment!

I have just seen this thread and cannot believe some of the posters attitude on here.
Not many people have the same taste in things, but I think the point has been made, you don't like bloody nappy cakes, I think we all get that now.Treat other's how you like to be treated.

No - the issue was about trying to find out what a friend would prefer rather than just give them what you think they might want.
But we're past that now.
