I'm interested to see them - can you PM me a link, please?Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
do you stay in inverness? as stated the person only does it locally you would need to go and request person as a friend and they would need to accept you, seems a bit of a hassle for someone who is so against them
are you seriously interested in the items - no i highly dount it - i will not be passing the details out and as i have clearly mentioned this thread is for wedding gifts not baby gifts
if you are interested in nappy cakes go to the nappy cake thread or even better search your local area for them, dont come on here still up rubbish and then expect to get recommendations
the point of the thread is to be mse, not stir!
i asked for peoples point of view on a wedding gift and it has been answered so why devolve the thread into something different:A VK :A0 -
Sambucas if your trying to get a reaction off me it's not going to happen
You just keep stirring and stirring
Grow up
I asked for people's advice
I have took it on board I have not been nasty or cruel or objective against people who do not like certain ideas for gifts so why are you still going on
You want me to bow down and just give money or gift card like you would go well no that's not going to happen as I don't like giving money
Don't say I haven't considered other people's comments or opinions when I clearly have you don't clearly read all the posts
So why don't you drop it and accept the fact some people like some gifts others do not
Everyone has the right to gift what thry want
I hope you get lots and lots and lots of gifts as towel cakes and nappy cakes because then you would have to reconsider all your friends lol!!!!!
Grow up and let the thread continue for other people who would like to spread ideas and see what others say
I couldn't give a monkey's - I am just asking!
Strewth. Chill out a bit eh?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
eh that wasnot for you it was for not a new user
i dont need to chill out
im actually quite relaxed
i just get annoyed with folk going on and on like that person is doing:A VK :A0 -
I think a few people need to back off abit. Why are people giving the OP such a hard time over such a small thing as nappy cakes/towels?:coffee:0

I think a few people need to back off abit. Why are people giving the OP such a hard time over such a small thing as nappy cakes/towels?
Because the OP keeps losing it and accusing people of being childish for just typing a different opinion than themselves have got?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
With regards to money I don't think there is anything wrong with asking for money as a gift or putting it in your invitations in form of a poem
I don't care what a couple spends the money on if I give them money, once I've given it its theirs to spend.
However, those godawful cheesy poems should be outlawed, and anyone who uses them banned from having anything but the most basic registry office wedding.
They're a crime against the English language, poetry, good taste, true hospitality and manners.0 -

It happens all the time, twists and turn all along the way. Ignore the posters attacking your choices in such a harsh way and try to sort out the wheat from the chaff.0 -
the op ie me thinks its ok to not like towel cakes or nappy cakes
i never once said everyone should
so to put words in my mouth regarding this iscrazy
i clearly stated that everyone is entitled to an opinion i clearly respect the fact that others like it and others dont
i never said my point of view was the way it should be
but for two certain users - they need to stop going on they are making a mess of thread which is not what its meant for
clearly for money saving tips etc
so how have i as the op been in the wrong ???
answer that:A VK :A0
