Ahh yes, that would make sense, thank-you.
EDIT:
I also mis-read that interest is calculated daily but only added at maturity, so this accounts for the other few pounds.
Mine is coming out at £3,725.30 now, on a non-leap year.MFiT-T3 :: Reduce mortgage to 80k (86.30%)0 -

By my reckoning if you put in the full £300 per month it should be somewhere in the £3760 to £3762 range.
What has anyone else's closing balance been?
Net amount - Paid about £31.44 in tax."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -

Just received my letter telling me that my FD regular saver is approaching it's "first anniversary" and on the back I found some interesting info.
Under the heading "New accounts no longer available" are listed everyday savings account and e-savings account.
The regular saver is under the "new accounts currently not available" heading.
This at least implies that the regular saver is likely to return, albeit with reduced rate of interest.:www: Progress Report :www:
Offer accepted: £107'000
Deposit: £23'000
Mortgage approved for: £84'000
Exchanged: 2/3/16
:T ... complete on 9/3/16 ... :T0 -
They are still allowing you to apply for an everyday esaver online today. I know the esaver ended a couple of years ago, kept a pound in it incase they upped the rate."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Mine was £3723.56.
Although this will be marginally less than the maximum (assuming 20% tax), as I only put in £80 in month 5, but then £520 in month 6 (every other month was £300).0 -
Still no sign of First Direct reopening their regular saver."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

My husband's regular saver matured a day after mine and he got £124.88. He requested a tax certificate the day before it matured as you cannot request one for it after it is removed.
It stated gross interest £156.10 interest £32.22 nett £124.88.
We both got a separate £1 off them due to it maturing a day early due to leap year."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
