    I think you are correct regarding the transfer of £1,500 p/m but you don't need to leave it in there. Cycle it in and then straight back out again if you want, maybe with a SO but I don't know if that can be used for the SO/DD requirement for the joining incentive as I didn't want that. BTW it's now £100 not £125

    PS I assume you have set up a SO to move the £300 into the RS and it's not going to just sit in the 1st account

    First Direct set up this SO for you, you can't do it yourself

    yes i have set up the account ,with £300 in to 1st account,
    then transfered to reg/saver.
    and £1 in e-saver.

    if i transfer another 1200 makeing 1500 for the first 3months ,then i can reduce back down to the 300 reqd ,
    can i set up a d/d from f/direct back , to my nat west account or santander? payable to my wife or myself?.

    Yes they did this for me but I thought it was just their customary good service or my boyish good looks :)

    You aren't allowed operate accounts for anyone else, unless you have Power Of Attorney, or it is a joint account.

    I am having a life, thank you, and a very nice one at that too.

    It is plain stupid to brag on the Internet (or anywhere else) that you broke a bank's T&Cs, even if you did so unknowingly.
