I have literally within the last hour been scammed by these people, it was on a Facebook page with someone from channel 4 saying how fab it was, I signed up to the free trial :0( £6.95 just gone out the bank!
I had already been onto the bank but the transaction hasn't gone through, the fraud guy said to wait till the p&p had gone out, so I will lose the six quid odd and phone them up again tomorrow when they will put a call back on the account so any money that goes out will come back :0( no point cancelling the debit card as once they have the first 12 digets they can keep claiming of the new card :0( you need to cancel with your bank!0 -
I fell for the scam as well given channel four and daillymail articles. However, after placing my order and receiving their which advised me about credit card fraud. I felt the company is not credibile so decided to investigate it and realised the scam! I called the company within minutes of ordering the trail. Beyond rasberry ketone has a UK 0800 phone number where beyond the automated cancellation if you pick the right options and you can get to an advisor. Very rude advisors very defensive and they will do everything not to help you. you have to push them and threaten them. They provided me with a cancellation and RMA number and i am expected to send the product back. I have received the product within days and hope to return in so no further charges are taken.
I called my bank LLoyds.. the customer rep sounded like he was aware of this problem and has a very judgemental attitude. He was very helpful but advised that wait for a couple of days if there is activity on your card then we will take care of it.
As it stands i received today, will send it back recorded delivery for sure to an address in Scotland..(WITHOUT using any of the pills as it is clear this not really a free tiral!!!)...finally stay in touch with my bank end of next week to make sure no activity has taken place...
overall.. DO NOT ORDER BEYONF RASPBERRY KETONE PRODCUTS...
raspberry based diet products have been known to help but you are better off buying the actual product instead of registering on trails and but from amazon if you have to after careful research!!!!0 -
:mad:The only thing you will lose here is money. We very stupidly signed up for a free trial and did not see the 14 day cancellation.
On the 2nd August they took £84.95 out of our account and on the 7th August they took £69. 95 from our account.
Each payment was for the two different products.
When you cancel, they do not automatically cancel both products and so unless you are aware of this they will continue taking money out.
They cover themselves very cleverly and even have a statement about fraud on their webs site....we thought we were intelligent adults but actually we are very very stupid.
Please do not touch this with a barge pole.0 -
Well, it looks like I have been hit the hardest. Today I have had £175 taken out of my account after a 14 day trial!! My husband has gone mad!!
I called my bank who said that if any future payments come out then they will be refunded immediately but I cannot get a refund for this charge via the bank.
I have now found the website & called Customer Services and was told to ring back in 10 minutes because their system is going through an upgrade. He cannot tell me if I will get a refund if I return the goods because he needs to check the account!!
AAAHHHH, I'm an intelligent woman, how can I have been SO STUPID!!!!0 -
I like many others it would seem have been caught out by this SCAM!!!
I purchased two products from them at £4.95 each which I received within a few days. At no point while making my order did I see anything regarding that I will be a charged a ridiculous sum of money after a 14 day trial period. This was 3 weeks ago......
The £4.95 had been taken for each product I had purchased, funny enough not even under the name of the product or company, but under a name of a makeup product. Then I check my on line banking today to see that I have no funds available, naturally I was very surprised by this and could see that two transactions had been taken, one for £95 and one for £85 for the two products I had purchased, now clearly named (funny that!).
I contacted my bank straight away who told me they had problems with this company before and would pass me through to someone who would have the money refunded, only to find that they would not refund me at all and that I needed to contact the company direct. A company who clearly scam people and do not provide their details on their despatch notes. I have been told that the bank would cancel any future transactions, however there may still be money that will be taken from my account and they would have to refund it. (nothing else my bank could do apparently)
They did help with one thing and gave me this contact number 0203 014 4000.... so I rang the company who again told me I should have read the terms and conditions, basically making me out to be stupid!!! After arguing for ages and asking for my money back the man on the phone told me as a good will gesture he would refund my £60.... GREAT!!
I asked for a manager and was told the manager would not speak to me and would not take the call, apparently it's not his job to deal with complaints and the man on the phone tried to make me feel guilty by saying did I want him to get the sack, even at one stage trying to tell me he was the manager and then admitting he wasn't and put me on hold.
I am not concerned that money will continue to be taken from my account and feel that something should be done. Why are they still getting away with this.
Why would anyone in their right mind pay £200 for a bottle of 60 capsules.
Please all ring this number and complain 0203 014 4000.
VERY ANGRY :mad:0 -
Soo- what is the website address? I received so called free trial in an envelope with NO details, invoice etc. Today I have had £84.95 debited from my account. As with others I am apparently stuck with this but 'smile- the Internet bank' have lodged my complaint and any future payments requested will be refunded..... But no way to track this payment and can only be pursued after either non delivery of goods (which I never ordered) or after they receive any new orders I return to them.
Thanks0 -
I have been scammed by a company after purchasing 'Beyond Raspberry Ketone' online. I bought a 'free trial' using my debit card (paid for postage = £3.48). I checked my account earlier on this evening to find that a further £84.95 had been taken out my account. I called my bank who have advised that I visit a branch first thing tomorrow morning. I made sure I read the terms and conditions properly and no where did it state that monthly subscriptions applied! :mad:0

Losing weight by burning proteins and producing ketones is bad for you. It is what happens to type one diabetics if they don't take their insulin. It will make you feel sick and disorientated.0

Sad to say I have also been caught out, but by another company called raspberry-ketones.com.
This company dosnt even send you out the product and dosnt return your emails, when you call them the phone is unobtainable
These are addressed from Scotland and by the looks of it are using a PO box number that is for a different company altogether.
So no way of cancelling although I have tried but they took the money out of my account 12 days after I started this 'free' trial.
In 12 days they have taken a little over £200.00.
I am totally sick to my stomach that the have taken this amount as I simply cannot afford this amount to be taken from me.
I did read the terms and conditions and cancelled before the 14 days were up, it clearly stated that payments wouldnt come out until the 30th day.
I even emailed them telling them that I had not received their product, but nothing, even tried calling them but had a recorded message stating that there was a technical issue with their phone. not the usual BT message.
Im off to my bank in a couple of hours to see if I can get my money back and for them to cancel any more payments.
on my statement they show up as evalue skin and natural skin. Bit odd for a slimming product.
Wish I had just bought the product from the chemist or health food shop, instead of trying to find a cheaper route.
I wouldnt mind but I didnt even buy them for slimming, they are good for other things too.0
