I fell for this scam too. I am really cross as usually I check things out but in this instance I didn't. After I received my 14 days trial I was then put in a redundancy pool at work and so many things were happening that I didn't even start the capsules, let alone think about them. It wasn't until I received my credit card statement which showed I had been charged £89 and £95 respectively - exactly 14 days from the date when I ordered the trial capsules and a cost of just the postage £4.95 each) that I realized what a scam this was. I did ring the company (a telephone number was next to the entries on my credit card statement) and managed to speak to someone but they just read off the standard patter that they had been told to relay. What made me laugh is they then offered future tablets at a reduced price of less than £25 'because they wanted me to be happy'. Obviously I didn't take their offer up and asked them to cancel any future payments. I wasn't convinced this would happen so I phoned my credit card provider up and they have put a stop on any future payments being taken by this company. If the company takes any payment in future, the credit card company will refund it to me.

I've been caught out by this. My bank has reimbursed me any losses straight away and stopped any further claims. I was immediately referred to the Disputes department - now banks are aware of the scam, they are acting appropriately. All very simple and sorted quickly.

By the way, did anyone benefit from the pills sent in the first instance?
• Unfortunately i too have been caught out by this scam - always never thought it would happen to me but it did!!

I clicked on a link on facebook for a 14 day free trial of Raspberry Ketone Blast and Cleanse Extreme capsules cost me £4.95 each and then bang on 14 days later a charge of £95 and £89 to both companies were taken from my account - showing on my bank statement as essential ketone raspberry and immediate cleanse.

I am attempting to sort this with my banks dispute department but they have said i should try contacting the two companies and cancel any subscription i have been signed up to - 1 problem with that...... i have no contact information for them, all i have is the names listed above, i can't even find the original link i clicked on through facebook anymore. Does anyone have a number/email address please?

You might like to know that most forms of raspberry ketones are not authorised for sale in the EU: the companies that operate this scam were therefore entering into a contract that they could not legally fulfill. This fact should help you to persuade banks and credit card companies to block payments and refund money.

The ban on most raspberry ketones was announced in a letter issued by the Food Standards Agency (Scotland) on 25 March. I could email a scan of this to anyone who needs it (PM me with an email address) or you could contact scotland@foodstandards.gsi.gov.uk
• My wife sent off for 2 free samples of product from this company based allegedly in Scotland at the beginning of April 2014.

She was told it was a free sample, and needed only to pay postage ect.

her credit card statement arrived yesterday, and this company have taken £95.00, and £89.00 not once, but SEVEN TIMES. Thats a whopping £1,288 POUNDS, and probably puts her at the top of the losers board for sure.

The big question here is, what are the banks and the relivant anti fraud departments doing to protect us from this type of crime as some posts are quite old.

We feel like we have been mugged without the violence, and now we don't know if we can recover this money yet.

Has anyone ever been refunded by the way?

i to got ripped off.. FOR raspberry ketones & Cleanse Extreme capsules THEY stole £184 from my account which was money that was for bills. I felt ill when i saw this had been taken.. I contacted my bank which were very helpful and gave me this number to ring 02030145447 i spoke to someone called Lauren and demanded my money back. Im suppose to be getting a refund of £120 in the next few days?? we will see. If not i will be straight back on the phone to them... Keep eye on your bank accounts!!
• I am devastated to say that I too have been badly caught out on this. In one pay packet nearly 300 quid has been taken out of my account. I am a very regular user of the internet and can not believe I have been scamed like this. I phoned up after I received a second delivery which I didn't order it is only then that I went on to my account and saw 2 debits on 22 Apr for 95 pound and 89 pound and then another on 6th May for 95 pound again. I was so angry that I was ranting at the rep who really didn't give a hoot and kept asking me about how successful I found the product. I managed to get a refund on the 3rd debit once I return the goods they sent. They refused to refund the other 2 amounts and I guess if you re read the small print you do not have a leg to stand on. I have learnt a big lesson and hope others read this before ordering and feeling the utter desolation that I felt

[Did they charge for your call to them? I don't want to lose anymore money!

QUOTE=ZoeNHS1310;62916717]I like many others it would seem have been caught out by this SCAM!!!

I purchased two products from them at £4.95 each which I received within a few days. At no point while making my order did I see anything regarding that I will be a charged a ridiculous sum of money after a 14 day trial period. This was 3 weeks ago......

The £4.95 had been taken for each product I had purchased, funny enough not even under the name of the product or company, but under a name of a makeup product. Then I check my on line banking today to see that I have no funds available, naturally I was very surprised by this and could see that two transactions had been taken, one for £95 and one for £85 for the two products I had purchased, now clearly named (funny that!).

I contacted my bank straight away who told me they had problems with this company before and would pass me through to someone who would have the money refunded, only to find that they would not refund me at all and that I needed to contact the company direct. A company who clearly scam people and do not provide their details on their despatch notes. I have been told that the bank would cancel any future transactions, however there may still be money that will be taken from my account and they would have to refund it. (nothing else my bank could do apparently)

They did help with one thing and gave me this contact number 0203 014 4000.... so I rang the company who again told me I should have read the terms and conditions, basically making me out to be stupid!!! After arguing for ages and asking for my money back the man on the phone told me as a good will gesture he would refund my £60.... GREAT!!

I asked for a manager and was told the manager would not speak to me and would not take the call, apparently it's not his job to deal with complaints and the man on the phone tried to make me feel guilty by saying did I want him to get the sack, even at one stage trying to tell me he was the manager and then admitting he wasn't and put me on hold.

I am not concerned that money will continue to be taken from my account and feel that something should be done. Why are they still getting away with this.

Why would anyone in their right mind pay £200 for a bottle of 60 capsules.

Please all ring this number and complain 0203 014 4000.

VERY ANGRY
Thank you for the above - I have called the number above as they also go under Premium Cleanse name. I too have just been scammed....after a lot of arguing they have only refunded me £30 from the £89 they took yesterday....they tried to take another £95 today but I had phoned my bank to block them....very worrying...this has now left me with no cash to live off til pay day !! tablets that should have cost me 2 x £4.95 were actually £200....he said the £4.95 is ony postage costs !!!!

You need to call this number 0203 014 4000, I have been scammed by a company showing as premium cleanse on my statement....I found this number from a post below. Thought Id give it a shot as my tablets were also £4.95 each....I asked if they are premium cleanse to get a reply of "hum hum" so they obvoulsy use a few names. They found my account....I was told the £4.95 was only postage costs and the product costs were actually £89 and £95....not what they advertised, their T&Cs are hidden somewhere....my bank will not refund me as they said I should have read the companys T&Cs...not happy but after arguing with premium cleanse they have agreed to refund a whopping £30 only !!! Myself and my partner spoke to this person and told them that this will now go global and will now cost them more than £89 !!!! This is a scary world we live in !!!! This has now left me overdrawn !!!
Try the number as my tablets came from a company in Edinburgh...I bet they have your details...hope that helps
