    PM's questions is brilliant.

Ed Milliband so desperate he's telling the other benches that the reason they are actually cheering Cameron is because they actually want to vote no. (To much laughter).

He's trying desperately to turn this into an in or out question, with no negotiation.

He won't answer a single question, and states "this is Prime Ministers questions, the clue is in the name, you are supposed to answer not us".

And he's just completely shot himself in the foot, and had to stop for air. He has stated in no uncertain terms he's against the public having their say. Took him 2 to 3 seconds to get back to speaking after realising what he'd just done.

Cameron is cool and collected, actually answering questions, surprisingly. Clegg looks to be absolutely fuming. Milliband is being turned into Mincemeat.

I don't think they all have an agenda. But it's the only way currently to get an overview of the situation from those in the media.

Maybe the reason that most people featured by the BBC (if your analysis is correct) are pro-EU is because that's a fair representation of the public at large as indicated by current polls.

    Just a thought.

Then you won't be against people having a say, as it will be to stay in the EU. What's to be scared of?

    Just a thought.

Yeah I just noticed that. That moment when he said 'No I don't support a referendum' his face dropped very quickly and he was on the back foot. After he's just had all his shadow cabinet refusing to say either way whether they support a referendum. Could get very tricky for him now. Going to plan for Dave so far!

  • Thanks for your input.

You're welcome. I find that it's hard to read the financial/political analysis of people who have such difficulty with the basics of their mother tongue. It leads me to believe that they have a low level of education and so the content of their analysis would reflect this.

This isn't always the case, but it generally rings true. It's certainly the case with your analysis, which is as riddled with mistakes and errors as your puctuation and spelling.

    Just a thought.

It's coming up on 6 years Graham.

Which makes this the worst recovery from a recession in UK history.

Largely because we cut too far, too fast, and didn't invest in economic growth as the US did. Their recovery is much stronger, because they've continued spending throughout,

I'd be terrified if I was American with that level of debt. Cowardly spending to appease the masses is not my idea of leadership.

Also you keep on citing the Labour recovery = again this was more of the same, faux prosperity built on spending on the PS, the very gap plugging that made the economy so unhealthy and unbalanced.

    It wasn't meaningful growth.

He used the words 'I don't support an in-out referendum'. I guess the 'in-out' bit will be used as his get out of jail card.

Think they get caught up in the politics of it all, and very quickly find themselves trying to damage another party, only to drop themselves in it. Those sort of things could hound Milliband for some time.

I simply cannot believe that labour will go into the next election campaigning on such terms. Especially considering how his face changed and he had to pause for breath. That shows at least they do know the problems with campaigning against the electorate having a vote.

I believe they will change their mind and offer a referendum, but those sort of slip ups are just gifts to Cameron waiting for future use.
