Ok, well still would have to spend money on and get up there to sort things out..Bedsit_Bob wrote: »I've been using a 3 Dongle for over 3 years and, while the speed isn't fantastic, and download limits aren't brilliant (I get 3GB for £15), it's enough for me.
Of course, it depends what the signal is like where you live.
Well I live in central London-ish and am looking at coverage for different providers but sounds interesting. I don't need a phone as I never use one, using mobile to call family, and actually I have been thinking about that too, whether I need a iPhone or to switch to android on cheaper contract..

I currently have a contract with 02 as I have an iPhone and to get the voicemail you need a contract. I have been with a iPhone forever but take you point about PAYG could get by on 1.5G a month.. but will have to wait till this June to change and research my options....Calculating Debts0

Didn't sleep too well last night, I am trying to sort out in my mind what I should do with eviction. I am not going to be able to pay arrears by Tuesday or the next month so what I don't understand if I pay off arrears and next months rent when I get paid will the eviction carry on? I know I am not thinking straight but all I can think of is I know I don't want to be homeless but the flat is draining me..

They cannot "evict" you straight away. They can give you two months notice. If you then refuse to leave they will have to go to court and then you will have another 28 days (but also some costs). It may be that even if they give you notice if you can negotiate a plan to pay the arrears they will withdraw it, as no landlord wants a void flat, even for a couple of months, as it costs them lost rent money.0

Thanks Harrysdad, just my mind racing in the early hours. I will talk to them once I have a clearer picture of my recovery plan.....Calculating Debts0

I know you said the house needs work, before it's fit to rent out, but is there any way it's fit enough for you to live in it?
If you gave up the flat, and moved into the house, you would save yourself the rent, which would cover the "amount short for making debt repayments", and leave you more than £850 over.0

            Hi Bob,
Unfortunately I live in London and my house is in Yorkshire so it would be a bit impractical but not impossible. Although living in a house that has not been lived in for many years would not be very comfortable.. Specially as a friend has used it as storage. I would need to discuss with work about flexible working. Raises some interest points though.. Thx
 P.s not sure about travel costs.....Calculating Debts0

I don't suppose your company has a branch in the NW?
If yes, any chance of a transfer?
Any chance of a new job, in the NW?0
