Why is me saying that you are like the OP's sister disgusting?
Is the OP's sister so digusting that you can't cope with being compared to her?0 -

No i am not like her sister at all... and i guess that you will be happy now that you have made me cry at that comment.
I wish you well op, and i hope that you manage to sit down, with your sister and sort out the differences.

OP, best of luck in whatever you decide to do.
I won't be posting anymore as I don't want to hijack your thread by arguing with other posters.
Apologies Saint Chris if I offended you.
OP, please feel free to pm me if you wish.
Again, best of luck with whatever you do and remember, that from what I have seen, you are a very decent person (don't let anyone tell you that you are not) and you, like everyone else, deserves to be happy.0 -

I just thought you were being a bit hard on the OP as she was already feeling bad (she said she had been crying all night.)
Really sorry Chris and I am sure you are a decent person and were only trying to help (as was I).0 -

Oh dear I seem to cause angst where ever I go perhaps I am a Jonah after all, Chris, Suzie I appreciate everything that has been posted and I think this shows just how high emotions can ride when family life is discussed.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0

.
No, the exchange I had with Chris was nothing to do with you at all, it was completely of my making.
OP, I really think that you blame yourself for everything because your family has conditioned you to believe that everything is your fault.
You really need to start valuing yourself more - you have a very low opinion of yourself and it comes across on your postings.
OP, you are worth a lot more than your family has led you to believe and your are so much better than them even though you don't think you are.
Until you start valuing yourself no-one is going to value you. From what you have said your OH sounds wonderful and he values you, so you need to start believing in yourself as much as your OH believes in you.0 -

I think Landy was just commenting on how that sentence sounded on it's own with the fullstop when read on it's own it reads as though you didn't know if it was your mother or father, I'm sure no offence was meant just Landy trying to make light of a pretty bad situation.
Lol, I read it as they didn't know if their father was a. Dead, or b. their mother.
But, hey, it gave you a laugh
Anyway folks, just shows that grammar and punctuation aren't always wasted.0
