  • Havent read all of this thread but I don't think it it is just LLoyds and Halifax - had quite a few people in today saying they had not been ''paid'' sorry benefits credited to their account by DWP!!

Hurrah! An overdue incoming FPS has actually hit my account. Halifax claimed that they got the system running at 4pm, only for it to crash at 5pm. How long will it hold up this time?

If this happens again next week, HMRC will be rubbing their hands :)

It is for me. I went and changed payment date from [tomorrow pending] to straight way and it went through fine.

Are you sure it was overdue? Nobody reported any missing payments last Friday. The first working day since then is still not over (about 3 hours still to go now), and the legal requirement is that payments arrive by the end of the next working day. So we can't have anything overdue yet?

    Why?
Because some people are silly and will pay their tax bill at the last possible minute.

Why isn't MSE covering this story in their news section?

I started my thread ''Fibbing banks.......................'' at 6.40am today, in the Arms Forum.

The Forum Team moved it over here at about 10am, so MSE must be aware of it, because your thread was here by then.

Maybe there might be as menton in tomorrows weekly email??

I think we might be aok now, I attempted a FP from halifax to santander, and its finally left my halifax account, not arrived in the santander account yet, so keeping an eye out for the transfer to be completed.

I think incoming BACS credits were also affected, so the DWP wouldn't be different from employers also using BACS.

My salary hit my Halifax account by BACS Direct Credit before 00:30 Monday morning, so it doesn't sound like all customers/accounts were affected.

I can't say whether my FPs were working then though, because I only transferred some out to my LTSB Vantage accounts (which of course goes internally, not via the FP system).
