Yesterday was a bit hit n miss for me .... dining room is currently the storage area for the utility room which DH has ripped out, so that's just a "dead zone" .... the kitchen I did kinda ensure was clean and tidy, but floor not mopped and cupboards not wiped.

On the flipside I did do a blitz on the main bedroom, changed bedlinen, pulled bed out and hoovered, dusted skirtings etc., I also cleared the hall and hoovered the stairs, so I'm sure it'll even out somewhere!

I also, not conquered, but definitely demolished some of the paperwork demons, so this is ongoing for this week .... after all I must do my SA before the end of the week !!

I am substituting the word "living room" for "Sewing room" in today's list, as I did the living room on Saturday.

Tuesday Sewing Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
Get a winter emergency box for your car.. it's still not too late SEE HERE for ideas!
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot or spend at least 15 minutes clearing it a bit
    • HHI
    • Give the inside of the front door a wipe (if it's not snowing you could do the outside too)
    • Wipe the leaves of your plants
    • Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around
    • Clean windows and sills in these areas

    Other:

    Find Brownie badges
    Sew them on
Fix zip on DD's blue pinafore
Identify what needs fixing on her grey pinafore
(Child is down to one skirt for school …. )

Ionafan, hope today goes well; thinking of you and DH. As you say if there was anything to be really concerned about they'd have had him in sharpish.

Dusty hope you have a better day today ((hug)).

Polkadot, I am with you re the kitchen being my frog - at least it's looking better today than it was yesterday but still hope to do more later. I figure the more I can do the less of a frog it will be.

DH just gone to work; it's really slippery and I've seen a few cars sliding so there's no way I'm going anywhere. Just sat under my SAD lamp for a bit doing this and then going to start my typing jobs. BBL!

Morning Dusty. I hope you're feeling better today. Good luck to Mr Ionafan at the consultation, and posi-vibes for GI's DD. Thanks Jazee for SickDog info; hopefully with less exercise for a bit and staying warm will ease the problem.

The Flying strategy here will be Level 1 every day on the room stated, as I've realised that as I'm dragging the shoulder snappingly heavy Dy$on about, I do the areas on the way to the room in question iyswim. And I really must dust a couple of shelves in the dining room left over from yesterday.

When the house was a complete tip OH never noticed the dust. In the olden days dusting and vacuuming were his responsibility, bathrooms and the kitchen were mine, so it might have had something to do with wilful blindness. Now that I do all of it and the place is half-decent, miraculously his eyesight has improved. Grr.
    Better is good enough.

All work suspended as the gas man has arrived :j Luckily I'd managed to load DW, WM & TD before he came so the kitchens not looking sooo bad :o
I've cleared out the cupboard under the stairs so he could get to the meter and he's currently having fun with the boiler front :rotfl:When they fitted the new kitchen (5 years ago now) they put up a cupboard within legal limits of the boiler but forgot that the boiler cover does have to come off. I did comment on it at the time but what am I to know I'm only the tenant

    Morning! (Just!)

WFH again today, it's actually bright and sunny so I may venture into the office tomorrow!

Am about to stop for lunchbreak, so just checked in for the list, as will fly a little whilst finding a snack.
