Big congratulations to Skintbreeder and welcome to the world for baby Holly! What a pretty name.
. Now, Skinty, take it EASY!!
Short post as typing with one finger - cat on me! Fed cats, birds, us, in that order first thing, then cleaned bathroom, tidied round, made two slow cooker meals, walked neighbour's dogs, then a bit of toast and work! Since coming back I've sorted WM and TD, made a cuppa, scoffed a croissant, now chilling until it's dinner time. Bliss!
Thanks for the info on the biscuits, Lamewolf. I'd looked up the recipe and found a good N American site, so will go back and take another look.
Good health and vibes all round, R x0 -
DS has decided he no longer likes left overs (sunday's meat in gravy), so tonight we are having chicken pie
. (Chicken ahem from yesterday, mushroom soup and a pastry crust on top). He has just asked when it will be ready. Teenagers are so fickle :rotfl:

Good evening
Contratulations Skinty and welcome to the world Holly Kara
I am in this week. Thanks Natty for the lists. I will mostly be passing flying duties to DH
DH had an interview at the Jobcentre this morning (his first ever time) All ok there. The primary school was shut, so I had an extra child all day, plus Miss T (although not her brothers - thankfully - they spent the day with their mum). DH & I took the girls & the dog to the park. Miss T is only 3 and doesn't like walking on ice/snow so we wrapped her up in sallopettes, etc (I provide the warm clothes as I can't be sure her mum will dress her appropriately ) and pulled her on the sledgeShe enjoyed the ride
Hot chocolate & DVD when we got back
can I have some calming good luck vibes for DD2 please? She has an exam tomorrow, and is getting herself very worked upDH is helping her now (he has more patience than me!)
Bonnie how did you get on today?
Hugs, sticks and spoons to any that want them0 -

Evening ladies  from the NHS Ritz.......gibble kept to an absolute minimum.......Skint Baby Holly Kara managed to declutter all the frozen milk i had collected over many days, plus :money: breastfeeding and a highly calorific premature prescription milk given by the paediatric team and she is suffering with low blood sugar
as we had feared.
So sadly Skint Baby Holly is off into SCBU tonight for unknown period while they sort it out, but i have been promised they will take me in a wheelchair to see her in the morning.
In the meantime my official fly by night mission consists of sleeping and hooking myself up to a milking machine to give her as much easily digestible food as possible.
Good news was DS, DD2 and DD3 got a chance for a cuddle before she was taken down......EX MIL was very sheepish tonight in light of developments as there is a good chance i will be fit to come home much sooner than Skint Baby Holly.
At some point will catch up with fred, but in the meantime thankyou all for your good wishesThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
I'm a new recruit who has been lurking...but skint you are one hell of a woman if you don't mind me saying. How do you manage it? Xx0
