Skint, many congratulations on the birth of Skintbaby :j and well done on giving her the best possible start in life with all your own milk and breastfeeding. Sorry to hear that she has to go to SCBU, but she is special and she does need special care so hopefully it will all turn out well and she will soon be home. Enjoy plenty of rest while you can and get that milk flowing! :money:
It's good that DS, DD2 and DD3 were all able to give Holly a cuddle (and you, of course). That's so important for them, and she will soon understand that, whatever else is in short supply, there is lots of love to share in your little family :happylove
As for your sheepish MiL - is that a first?

My flying today has been very third-rate
Having overslept this morning and then got up in a rush to get DH's lunch and see him off to work, I just couldn't get going properly, even after a hot shower. By midday I was in full-blown hibernation mode - which is cured only by a hot drink, a warm blanket and plenty of zzz. So I had all three
and was beginning to feel somewhat better by the time DH came home from work. I have achieved a few things off my list this evening but it is still much longer than I would have liked. At least I have managed to post the eB@y parcels and pack up no less than 5 bags of stuff to deliver to the CS tomorrow
DH has an appointment with the mental health consultant tomorrow, and as usual I shall go with him. Just before Christmas he had an MRI brain scan, and he will be given the results tomorrow. There's obviously nothing dreadfully wrong, or the hospital would have called him in immediately, but he is worried that they have found something that will prevent him from carrying on working in any capacity at all on the railways - he is already restricted to non-safety-critical work. So with his various job applications in mind, there's obviously a lot riding on this consultation, and FlyLady posi-vibes would be much appreciated. I hope he's worrying unnecessarily...0 -
sorry to hear holly has to spend a little time in SCBU i hope it wont be long and shes soon back with you. sending hugs to you bothSPC~12 ot 124

ionafan - thoughts and prayers heading your way x
Welcome to all newbies and returners.
We were in school until 1 p.m. today with most people clearing snow to make the site safe for tomorrow and the rest of us flying in classrooms!
As soon as I knew we were finishing early, I managed to arrange for the scrap car place to come and get my old car this afternoon (and they paid me £80!!). So, I left work, went shopping, popped to dad's, came home, got rid of old car, went and got new parking permit for new-to-me car, made carrot and ginger soup, flew in kitchen whilst it and dinner were cooking, and did some paperwork!!
Altogether a successful Monday - if only everyday was like this!!
