Yipee I did the lounge yesterday as I do all bedrooms together on a Friday!! So I will do dailies, S & S where needed! I have already popped to the shops for a couple of bits this morning.

Have got some ironing to put away later but I have made a picnic and will take littles to the park on the way home from collecting DD1 from pre-school.

Feeling a bit glum today someone who I thought was a really close friend is moving and just found out from another friend that she is having a fairwell meal on Saturday and she asked if I was going?? No says me not been invited! Well come alone said this lady, no says me if she wanted me there she would have invited me. Am feeling very hurt at the moment, I really did think we were good friends and it appears people who are not as friendly are getting invites. Wouldnt mind but we have not had a falling out, infact she phoned me last week desperate because her kettle had broke and we went out of our way to get her a new one and then I said I didnt want the money for it have it as a new start present! Now I know why I dont bother with "real" people too much. Will stick with you lot on here!

Sorry for the moan, right off to clean up the sandwich crumbs

Oh shell never nice to feel left out is it. This happened to me with an old friends wedding. Try not to feel too down about it. Just helps you realise which friends matter the most.

:o Oh I am still here, but is a reason waiting for a call back, been asked to attend as an interviewer for an audit of the Childrens Services part of our council, like I said 'With pleasure' I don't mind grilling directors :D No free lunch this time tho, bah!
One day I might be more organised...........

Welcome new people Just start small at first, level 1 or 2, as the weeks go by you really do start to see a huge difference

Shell :( sorry to hear that, some people don't deserve nice friends like you. I stay clear of 'real' people too, every friend I've ever had has took the pish so I simply don't bother anymore, and I'm super fine with that :)

    Morning alll.

Shell hope you are not feeling too down, don't dwell on it. Imagine it is a kids party and yours have not been invited and tell yourself what you would tell the little ones x

Not started flying yet as I have just been for a job interview - first in 13 years since I had DS1 and hey I am now employed on a part time basis with irregular hours. I will need flylady more than ever to keep on track.

The way you do this thread now is great so a big thank you.

Had a glove amnesty this morning with the kids handing them all in from many various hiding places to be washed, paired and put away.

Off to my allotment in a bit then hope to fly/do dailies when I get back.

    Good morning,
I am enjoying reading all your posts, SHELL, sorry to hear about your 'friend' leaving you out like that. People are sometimes so thoughtless.

I wrote my list of things to do today last night as I always do and DH read it. He said 'tear it up and do something nice instead'. He then proceded to tidy lounge, hall and kitchen! He knows how I struggle to do physical things so it is a great start to today for me. :j

At hospital yesterday they did tell me to ask for more help!! Didn't need to.

    My list for today
    [STRIKE]Sort clothes to bedrooms[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Water seedlings[/STRIKE]
    Ring bank
Tidy one hot spot-Dresser, everything gets dumped on there
    Sort paperwork-ongoing
Hang out washing- DH at lunch time
Do exercises-oops forgot yesterday as went to hospital
    Doctors appointment and vets

Lil_me, your puppy reminds me of my cat. I stood on her tail when I was in plaster. I really put all my weight on her. She was making such a fuss all weekend and especially when we had friends here.I felt really bad. We took her to the vets as soon as it opened on Monday morning and the vet pulled and poked and she didn't make a sound. She said there was nothing wrong with her, she was attention seeking. Milking it for all she can I guess.:rotfl:

I've got another heap of washing in.. 2 lots hung out.. 2 lots in the dryers.. I decided I HAD to use the dryers if I stood ANY chance of catching up with the bottom of the wash basket which I believe id descending into the bowels of the earth!!

I've collected the dirty laundry from the downstairs of the house and brought mine down. I've even resorted to quick wash programs for my stuff and some of the other bits because I just have so much.. and the children are sticking to their bed sheets!

DW almost finished now so that can be unloaded and reloaded before I go out to school.

I will do you a photograph of the mountain of towels I just folded before I take them and put them away.. it is most amusing.

Time for a cuppa I think before the next load finishes!
