Oh crikey Becca, what a nightmare!

Just had lunch myself, downside sitting room hijacked, DP working on his toys. Going to have to either clean around him or wait. Think I'll do the window then leave the rest until he's moved or he'll just moan!

Forecast says sunny everywhere, apart from east, guess we're east then, bah! Taking ages to get laundry dry.
One day I might be more organised...........

Not yet AnWsmum and cha97michelle, I keep feeling twinges, but nothing serious, I think she's settling in for the long haul. :( I really hope not though. If I go more than a week overdue, they're going to take me in for another c-section. I really don't want one. DS was 9lb3 because he was 14 days overdue, I'm only 5"1 and he was just too big to deliver naturally. Add that to the fact that my induced labour was mis-managed by the drs (the midwives couldn't be faulted) and you have a recipe for a pretty miserable birth experience.

I'm going to go for a nice long walk tonight, apparently it can help set off labour.

Well done nicki juststarting and nabowla! Poor beccatje - Yucky loo splurge is never fun. Poor shell too! It's been a pretty rubbish few days for you. Still, when things get you down, the only way is up!

Embb, how's little em today? Or should I say, how are you? I hope the kids are being nicer again now. Horrid little monsters.

Take care all and I'll pop back later to update my list some more. X

Awww maralum I bet you're getting fed up, I was early with both boys, both csections too, so can't say I understand the way you feel. Just hope the stubborn madam puts in an appearance soon :D

Well I have done a window cleaning mission, house has that a la chip shop smell :rotfl: but not for long as all the windows now open.

Was hoping to clean LR curtains but I have an extended washing pile thanks to tiddles wetting the bed again, so looks like will have to be another day. Need to get vacuumed before kids return to DP best shift soon, saying that they are at an after school club tonight so don't need collecting until 3.45pm, do need to go to shop and Post Office before I collect them. That's all that there is left to do from the list :D

Well I have raged a war against the clutter in this house - it's now divided into 4 piles - Mine, OH's, DD's and household stuff. :D Now if I can just get it out of the house I'll be happy as I'll be able to move  MUCH bigger than in the picture as well :D In about 4 hours time though I bet it gets reduced greatly by OH

Time for the school run.

Good stuff nicki, I just love it when I can look into a room and know that everything in it is necessary and organised. Of course, I only have one room where that's true!

Helloooo! Am having a good day today, been to a new playgroup this morning as the old one wasn't my kind of people and loved the new one, it was full of people I know or who my family so it was lovely, really nervous about going as I'm quite shy but now really pleased with myself as we had a lovely time. Hugs to all who need one,
Shell - I've let go of many friends since lo as I can't be bothered to pretend and put up with their rubbish, now I only have a handful of 'friends' but am so much happier, sorry its not nice what she did but you aren't alone
Lil_me - I had by dog 'done' last year as he was getting friendly with people:o, went to collect him and he was really crying and I felt so guilty for doing it to him. The nurse had given him a painkilling jab so assured me he was okay, I spent all night nursing him, my other dog went to my in laws to give him some peace and I cooked him chicken breast, milk, biccies, slept with him downstairs on the floor (I was 7 months pregant!) and it was all put on! As soon as he saw his 'brother' they were running around, fighting, the lot as normal. Turns out he'd been like it in the vets and as hes a Basset Hound they don't see many in there so they'd never left him, he was out the cage and being fussed all the time, the more he cried the more they fussed! So he twigged and did it at home, little monkey!

I've been addicted to this thread for nearly two weeks now but I feel as if I've been eavesdropping on your conversations ... so it's time to say hello.
I work full time, usually from about 8.00 to about 6.00, so getting to the end of the list is quite a challenge. But on the other hand I don't have any children living at home --- only a lovely grown up DD with a delightful DGD who stay over about twice a week and visit almost every day.
Could someone tell me about 'dailies'? I swish and swipe the bathroom and the loos, empty the bins, put the WM on before leaving for work. And shine the sink! Is there anything else I should be doing every day? I don't promise to do it but it would be good to know what I'm NOT doing, IYSWIM.
For the first time ever my house is largely clean and tidy (well, cleanish and tidyish) so HUGE THANKS to you all.:T
