The only thing I haven't cracked yet is how to post properly on here. I can't get my text to come out in paragraphs and the advanced options (coloured texts, line through text etc) don't work. Don't suppose any of the FlyLadies can help me with that as well as helping me organise my life?!

Welcome! From my experience, even if you drop off the wagon (as I do too often) having followed the Flylady thread makes it so much easier to get back on top of things. Help with your formatting - you need to click on the 'ad

  • Oh no, today's a hall and stairs day. We have two hamster cages in the hallway so I guess today would be as good a day as any to clean them out - I'll add it to the hall list.

I remember the conversation I had with my two kids around this time last year - "yes, you can have a hamster each, IF you feed them every day and clean them out regularly".
"Yes, of course we will". :A
    Guess how long THAT lasted!

    Morning all :hello:

Another day when I'm going to sort of skip Lil_me's list  I have a stack of washing to do as I've just stripped the sheets & pillowcases off both beds plus the winter quilt (being used ontop of the mattress to make it more bearable until we can afford a new one) and actual pillows off ours. I'm only going to put the pillows & quilt out on the line to blow through then I'll take the pillows apart and wash the outsides (:o ) but not the stuffing...I've learnt my lesson  Didn't do the cloths yesterday so need to get them done as well as the clothing. DD is in one of her pottering moods this morning and I'm about ready to strangle her again

    So todays jobs are
    • Dailies
    • Ebay listings of my stuff, still need to go through the other things with OH
    • Washing
    • Ironing
    • Make beds up again.
Will expand more when I have time to sit down and think  later

Morning, just a quickie as came online to check playgroup times and got on here;) My list, deleted everything done so just got the do's for today:

    Kitchen Clean floors
Clean window - landing and 3 in our bedroom

Wednesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Vacuum floor and sofas
Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
Declutter mission task 27 fling boogie time is here again, grab a bag and clear that clutter

    PLUS Dallies
    Aldi
    Playgroup?
    Make stew for tea

Newbies to the thread and those struggling - honestly, each week it gets easier, just do a bit each day - set a timer and just do an hour would help and then it comes round next time. My biggest problem was my kitchen and bathrooms but do give them a 'swish & swipe' everyday (takes 5mins) and it never looks untidy now! Just take little baby steps and don't worry if you don't cross everything off, what matters is your trying and each weekyou'll get more done.

Right must wash my hair if baby will let me xx

    Morning all 124.gif

Got a viewing I hope today so left "Dancing with Mr Dyson" till this morning. Need to mop kitchen floor again after the dogs have dribbled round their water fountain.

On my "system" this is my "Occasional day" + ironing - where I do the non every week stuff like windows, cleaning fridges and freezers, steam cleaning carpets etc etc so will see what time I have after S&S and getting ready for the viewing. Already done bathrooms and kitchen apart from the floor and cleared up after breakfast, done my works emails and packed my Amazon stuff ready to go to PO.

I''ll be glad when we have sold and exchanged contracts - this chopping and changing is b*ggering up my schedule!!!!

    Have fun folks z4dwink.gif

Hmmm. I'm in the advanced mode trying to type out my Flylady list for today and it's not working. I can see all of the options (bullets, smily faces etc) but nothing happens when I click on the options. Think something must be wrong with my computer. Guess I'd better put "fix computer" on today's list - no idea how I'm going to achieve that one though!

I have a meeting at school at 1:30pm for DD4 starting reception in September.
I have a mountain of washing still needing to be done before I can even think about bed sheets!! .. Though they all need changing.
The bathroom is FILTHY so I need to get that done at some point this week... the loo as well.. that's not much better.

thankfully the hallway etc aren't too bad so won't take long.

I could do to do a whizz over the front and back rooms as well.. so I might do those too.

Best move before I change my mind!!!
