Not done too much today as took LO to toddler group this morning and then for his immunisations this aft but luckily bedroom was ok so don't feel like I have got behind.
Hoping to get front room looking spotless tomorrow.
Happy Flying all - hope baby arrives tonight maralum xxx0 -
Maralum- a foot rub sounds divine, i'd love one of those right now, will see if I can persuade my DH to give me one!
Michelle- if the sore throat is the start of what I've had these past few days make sure you take care and rest up, you'll feel better for it and most of the jobs can wait till you are feeling brighter.
Loads of crossed out lists again for lots of people today, well done to everyone who has accomplished something.
As for me, nothing has been done!
I intended to drop DS at his Woodcraft group and come home and tackle the bedroom getting it back up to scratch, but on the way there my indicators on the car packed up. Didn't fancy more driving than was necessary so I stayed for the session.
Now back home I can't be bothered to start. Have put a bread pudding in the oven as I left it soaking earlier and am just going to do the lunches for tomorrow. Then with a cuppa I'm going to write a list of jobs to do tomorrow, otherwise I'm just going to think it all needs doing and get fed up!
I will ask DH to do a couple of things before he goes to work and I'll do the rest myself tomorrow evening to hopefully get back on course.
Hope you are all having a relaxing evening....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Well i've had a goood go at my bedroom (i say my because i considered doing OH's side of bed but ran out of time and energy) On the cleaning front its probably only a level 1.5 but there was a LOT of tidying to do first! It now looks great again. Yey!
Gonna be out the next two evenings but will have a quick whizz round lounge and bathroom before wk tomorrow as don't want out-laws thinking i'm a lazy slob when they babysit tomorrow!Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0 -
lil-me sorry to hear about the puppy - sounds like it might be pricey if it needs x-rays. Don't feel bad though. These things happen unfortunately
feel loads better now i've achieved what i need to. The throat is still sore, but i'll try to eat a bit better tomorrow. The diet has been a bit poor for a few days cos i've been running the cupboards down. At least i feed Charlie well. :rotfl:

Done nothing tonight. BF decided he wanted to chat so we've been talking for ages. Am completely shattered so am thinking of having an early night. Thankfully the bedroom is reasonably tidy, so not too much of a big deal there.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0

Right, it's very late, but here is the final score for today:-
Level 1
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing Will do when LO wakes up - didn't get a chance in the end - will add it to tomorrow's list!Level 2
Remove bed linen and wash, replace with fresh due to be done tomorrow
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen due to be done tomorrow
Level 3
[STRIKE]Clean window & wipe windowsill
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Wipe doors and handles [/STRIKE]- Did this lot on Saturday and it still looks fab
Declutter Mission Task
Choose one HOTSPOT to clear, even if only for 10 minutes I'm sure I'll find one, but I don't have too many hotspots around here now
Dailies
[STRIKE]Make beds [/STRIKE]- I will do this first!
[STRIKE]Swish and swipe bathroom/toilet/shower[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash baby's sheets and make up cot with fresh [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]School run (x2)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Playschool run (x2)[/STRIKE]
Need to shop for a birthday pressie in the morning postponed because LO is poorly
[STRIKE]Clear remain bits and bobs from landing[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make Choc chip loaf for after school treat[/STRIKE] In BM as I write. Hope it turns out ok, I haven't done it before. Not a great success I'm afraid. The choc chips all melted in the with bread rather than staying as choc chips. Will have to find a new method!
I also hung curtains in LO's bedroom this afternoon - he'd had his window covered with a bin liner to keep the light out for the past few weeks because I didn't want to spend money on new ones (especially since I haven't seen anything I really like). Had a brainwave, and found an old pair in the linen drawer which look fine to me, and his room looks much better now (as long as you don't look at all the clutter on the floor!). Baby steps though - curtains and clean sheets aren't a bad achievement for one day when he's been a high-maintenance boy because of his rasping cough and runny nose!
Lil_me - I know just how you feel re the puppy. I had a cat that was always under my feet, and one day, he tripped me up and I trod on his tail! He was clearly hurting a lot and we went off to the vet, but thankfully it wasn't broken but only badly bruised. I did feel awful though!
Maralum - I hope the baby comes very soon. I just hate the waiting around for something to happen stage. I got so fed up with people asking if I was 'still here' that I came close to punching a few of them on the nose, although thankfully managed to resist!
Anyway, had better end here as this post is now huge, and I'm shattered, and my breadmaker is pinging.
See you all in the morning!
