embb the list is there your waiting is over

Michelle, hope you are feeling better soon

Well I have quite a bit to do still but DP has took DS2 with him so can get it done. Then I think I will treat myself to a soak in the bath. Not often I get chance.

Have had to contact vet, opened door earlier and puppy was behind it, there is a big gap under it and she jammed her foot. She pulled it out but is hobbling, vet said see how she is tomorrow but if no better bring her down, doesn't feel broken but she isn't walking properly yet :( Hope she is ok. Feeling very guilty.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hows everyone else's day been today? Did the lists but didn't take me long as we've been keeping up generally at the momemnt with keeping things tidy. Got to go to DD's school tomorrow for an appointment with the orthotist for new piedro boots and some leg splints - not looking forward to the splints - she's never had to wear them before! We'll have to see how she gets on with them. Then popping round to my moms after to pick up some paint - saves me buying it lol Hoping to finish the doors off in my hallway tomorrow night and then get cracking on the kitchen later in the week. The cat's still out galavanting so will have to "get him" later :p Take Care. Em.

Hi all just read tomorrows list and can I ask to have added to test your smoke alarms - lots of peoples are in the hall - it only takes a moment. BTW I understand you are supposed to hoover them out inside once a year (I do it New Years' Day but have no idea why?).

Hope this doesn't sound like I'm sticking my oar in soon and feel free to say if you did it last week.

Lil_me, don't feel guilty, it's not your fault! You would never dream of hurting her on purpose, so just focus your energy on making her better, not beating yourself up. OK?

Embb, thanks I am feeling better now! Sorry the same can't be said for you and your DD - you're right, children ARE horrible :( . She's lucky she has you though. Best bet, go to where the children are all playing and do something exciting and fun in front of them. Jealousy has a wonderful effect on little brats ;) . Soon, they'll see how much fun your em is having and want to be part of it. Especially when they see that nice children get attention from adults.

After an atrocious start to the day, all is well again here in sunny Exeter! I've nearly completed the lists for the last two days, my dailies are all done and I took DS to get a haircut. We also visited the school he'll be starting in september - I couldn't be more pleased. It's a tiny school, full of colour, laughter and happy babies. The headmistress was lovely, she paid attention when the parents and children asked questions and knew all of our names by the end of the one hour session! :j

We've just had dinner (snap scaredycat, we had spaghetti bolognese too!) and DH has offered me a foot rub when the boy's in bed! Lucky Mara ;) .

Just the bed to make and kitchen floor to wipe, but I'm not sweating it - if it doesn't get done, I don't really mind.

Lil_me - stop that! I can feel you giving yourself a hard time from here!!!

Have a good night all, welcome to all newbies and hello to all regulars. I'll see you in the morning, wish for me to have a slightly slimmer belly and a little girl in my arms. :D

Hello busy Flypeople, welcome New mum again and Squeaky.
Lots of lists have been crossed through today, well done!

Only just got in and the Master bedroom doesn't need much attention (and I'm not going to change the bedding as I'm away Fri/Sat/Sun). Maybe just a quick dust and Dyson. I see tomorrows list is up too so I'll just keep going with the vaccuum... My bungalow is small enough to vaccuum every room from one socket in the hall, lucky me!

Tonight I also want to make a carrot cake, off to find a recipe on here somewhere after this. I also need to write a list for the catsitters while I'm away and another for packing. I'm off to Dublin for a 15 strong hen weekend, I'm not much of a party girl and am a bit older than most of them but it'll be a laugh and probably the only holiday I'll get away this year.
If I get time I want to check my payslips against my overtime claims as I think I've been diddled, Grrrr..

Off to make a start. Catch up with you later no doubt.

Thanks emmie, reminded me I have flea and worm drops to do on my two. I bought them last week and still haven't done it. I like to sneak up on them when they're asleep..

Hope your wish is granted, but remember once she's here you'll have all those lovely sleepless nights, pooey nappies to change, cracked nipples or bottles to sterilise, endless clothes to wash, sibling rivalry... Enjoy the peace while you can!

Shall be off to finish tidying the kitchen in a mo.
