All washing and most ironing now complete in the Great Spring Clean... :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUk4Dr_I4Q8

Just need coats to dry off and to iron the linings as far as possible (that's the only downside so far of wash vs dry clean, the linings crumple a bit).

Takeaway tonight as didn't manage to eat before dance class and have to be out early tomorrow for work. But am considering it a celebration as dance class went much better than expected, it seems my brain was managing to talk to my feet this time :rotfl:

Well today has been a bit pants due to a work issue... am grumpy about it, then grumpy with myself for being silly as it's one small issue in otherwise good feedback and I expected it which means my perceptions were correct in the first place... grrrr need to snap out of it.

So anyway now I have a few days off :jas I booked some leave next week. I will take some time out to go somewhere for a treat as I do need a break and a change of scene.

    However I also want to:
    • Get an outline draft of my dissertation done, the deadline is creeping up
    • Check the uni site for submission requirements (so I don't do the get-it-through-plagiary-check-machine-at-2am thing)
    • Finish ironing and putting away the winter clothes
    • Go through the stuff to be disposed of and sort it into potential dress shop, charity shop and Ebay. Call dress shop about those options. Charity shop stuff to be removed from the house AND CAR - ie dropped off at charity shop not continuing to clutter up the car instead.
    • Reshuffle the wardrobe to move files and make space for storing bedding
    • Email the landlord re one repair and some improvements
    • Talk to techie friends about secure storage for scanned documents
    • Check the car tyre pressures, washer fluid etc
    • Spend some time tidying the poor garden. It's looking very unloved and I'd like to be able to spend time out there soon.
I think that list is long enough!

Wow, never knew that about Rosemary and we have a massive bush in the garden. That said, I have a memory like an elephant most of the time anyway, any more encouragement and I might turn into so,e kind of sci-fi film :D my earliest memory is just before my second birthday, being taken to a photographers. I still remember the feel of the buttons on my dress, the reception area, what my dad said to me as he lifted me out of the car, and even how the photographer told me to pose. I guess a lot is to do with one of the photos being on the wall at my DM's but still quite a lot for a toddler to have taken in at the time.

Enjoy your time off Rosa. Weather looks like it will b nice so enjoy the garden, and try not to stress about work or at least not dwell on it. X

Thanks all, I have got round to being angry instead of upset about the work thing so will be over it soon :rotfl:

I slept in this morning partly because I could and partly because it makes the cats so happy and it's lovely to doze with a purring cat on either side (they don't speak to each other so always ensure I am in the middle). Then got on with my list :)

    Done
    • Finish ironing and putting away the winter clothes
    • Reshuffle the wardrobe to move files and make space for storing bedding
    • Plus sorted out the bedding into its new space (in pillowcases as per KonMari) and reshuffled other things in the wardrobe so towels etc are all tidy now too.
    Still to do

    • Get an outline draft of my dissertation done, the deadline is creeping up
    • Check the uni site for submission requirements (so I don't do the get-it-through-plagiary-check-machine-at-2am thing)
    • Go through the stuff to be disposed of and sort it into potential dress shop, charity shop and Ebay. Call dress shop about those options. Charity shop stuff to be removed from the house AND CAR - ie dropped off at charity shop not continuing to clutter up the car instead.

Tidying took a while and I forgot I need to read some documents for a volunteer thing tomorrow, so will try and print it tonight and get up earlier to read through it tomorrow morning.

Also need to update YNAB as haven't for ages - guess the pressure is off now the card's paid :D - but must do it as want to keep my good habits (don't have many so better make the most of the few) :rotfl:

I love the smell of rosemary - I have some in the garden and also some of the essential oil which I will put on indoors too :)
