Quite what dragging someone 10 miles for a 5 minute interview/humiliation, to tell them you are applying/trying with a few sheets of adverts"CV"s adds is questionable IMO.
I accept that initial application and periodic "in depth" sessions maybe necessary.
Just a thought - might even tie in with IDS automated UB claim system;)
Erm, you pretty much describe a new system I am working on. It would be inappropriate to divulge too much.
You are right that appointments with JCP advisers are booked centrally now.0 -

You doing it on purpose now Hamish?
Your argument, via posting pictures was ridiculous to start with, but to purposely choose a picture to suit when clearly there were loads of others, such as the one above.....it's pure desperation.0 -
JCP offices should be busy places. Busy, as in a reflection that they offer services and information of genuine use to people seeking work or changing careers.

But would you fancy signing on in Romania? Even playing field methinks. What if we changed it so that immigrants could claim benefits up to the equivalent of benefits being paid in country of domicile? A bit complicated though, should create some jobs in the DWP

Can I just say how nice it is to have us all in agreement about something?!
We've even been able to discuss politics without falling out!
That's surely got to show the strength of the feeling. Got to be a first on here too.0 -

At least Toasties fit the argument in a satirical way.."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
