I can see that this thread has been overrun by some particularly nasty pieces of work, making up false claims about immigrants and spouting racist nonsense.

I've posted evidence that almost all of those claims are false, and the rest are hugely exaggerated.

If people wish to continue believing anti-immigrant racist propaganda, that says more about their lack of intelligence or deeply held bigotry than anything else.

OK, so let me get this straight, because you are wrong and your "evidence" has no depth, you are back to calling people "nasty pieces of work", "racists" and "making false claims".
Arguing with you is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.

    Nope.

I'm just noting that your posts earlier in particular, contained numerous false claims, made up stories, and racist nonsense.

Boston is attractive to immigrants because of work opportunities. Statistically there is also a very low uptake of benefits and housing by these immigrants. Also Bulgarians and Romanians have the option of going to any other country in the EU. Its a scare story propagated by UKIP and Migration Watch looney tunes with little basis in fact. There may be an issue but it is hugely exaggerated.
  • Back to the racist position then.

Noticed it's pretty much everyone, bar you?

Unsurprisingly, threads about immigration attract racists, bigots and xenophobes.

And the racists, bigots and xenophobes spend a lot of time denying the facts, denying the evidence, and claiming they aren't that way at all.

But the evidence of positive benefits to immigration are so overwhelming, there can simply be no other reason to argue against it.

As I've noted before, if you think immigration is really a serious problem for this country you are either a racist, bigot or xenophobe, or you are not intelligent enough to understand the (admittedly quite complex) economic and social benefits.

People who talk like you usually live in nice quiet middle class areas. Why don't you move to Boston and live there and prove the strength of your convictions.

Forget trying to reason, you are just feeding the troll.

    Ignore works quite well.

It must be so easy to enter a weird state of reality when you are sat at the PC 24/7 and not mixing in the real world.
I cannot think of one person that even comes close to Hamishes so call "pro" immigration stance in the real world, homeowners and renters alike.

I think the major difference between many of us and Hamish is that most of us do not want to be rich at the expence of living in an over crowded toilet.

I DO NOT want my culture anymore diluted by the arrival of 100,000's of non skilled Bulgarians and Romanians, if they want to go to Scotland then thats fine.

But as a Scot moving to England, surely that would make me an immigrant?

Aren't you trying to claim you already have too many? :rotfl:
