  • Well I apologise for not being around the last couple of weeks, been a bit manic! I've stayed the same, haven't really been on track at all - not enough meal planning. BUT meals planned for this week, shopping tonight followed by training so will get back on it!

Am about to update the front post with what I can work out so if it's wrong I apologise, just let me know!

Not doing well at all as far as weight is concerned. 12st 13lbs this morning. I believe I am on a plateau at 180-183 lbs. However, I am able to do more when strength training so hope that I am putting on muscle whilst losing fat.

On the bright side, I am now in some 36" waist trousers that my wife told me I was stupid to buy when I was in 42" waist ones! And, I got them at a discount last July!

How lovely to get into trousers a few inches smaller than what you previously wore. If that is not motivation to keep on keeping on, then I don't know what is. Well done :A

I've not been around much, had a weight plateau which was getting me down, but its through now, official weigh in on Sunday shoowed me as 15st 6, so 12lbs down, aiming for the 1 stone mark by Sunday, just enjoig a day of excercise at home - have burnt 550 cals so far today, aiming for 1000 for a boost, have had a couple of people comment on my face being slimmer, so happy about that ^^

    Well done you!

I'm still on my 180-183 lbs plateau but as I lost 4 stone last year, I can live with sticking a bit during the last 15-25 lbs. I have been doing strength training so I may not lose more weight at all which is a little bit of a let down. As long as my waist trims down and I can see body fat going I shan't complain.

I'm staying the same too! Had a week away this week, with lots of over indulgence so shouldn't complain too much I guess! Last 4 weeks of the challenge for me and an 7lbs off my target so need some serious work if I'm going to get there!

I had a few slips, trips and falls last week. Over indulged in choc, and cake on 3 consecutive days, a bit of comfort food I think as an antidote to a little rough patch that I am going through. Needless to say I have put on 4 extra pounds. I weighed myself this eve and am a little dismayed. I am at the point in the journey when it is time to understand how calories work, what food equates to in terms of calories and how many calories a day I need in order to lose a steady 2lb per week. Any tips or advice gratfully received.

Stayed the same, but clothes seem to be fitting better (eg: can do my trouser zips up without a fight), I don't feel so blobby and have had one or two compliments. I know that some say you lose inches rather than pounds sometime.

Wishing you all another good week.
