I was right, I put on weight last week. 13st 1lb this morning. On the bright side though, the problem I've had with a lump and pain in my chest for ten days has eased so I can do press ups and dips again. I think I overdid it and tore some muscle causing the lump as well as the discomfort.
I shall get back in routine this week. You know, apart from Friday when I shall be drinking too much whilst meeting friends I haven't seen for a while. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

I put on this week too - currently 81.5kg - must stop giving into the chocolate cravings! On a positive note I have continued with 30mins high intensity exercise every day.0

Stayed the same this week, but I'm not unhappy. It's what my old SWorld consultant would have called (in hushed tones) my "star week". I feel better for eating properly and being in control, so I'm not looking at this as a setback.
Thanks to all for the great advice re my cousin. I have gently passed on the advice and will see how he gets on. Sadly he's miles away in the North West of England so I can't just pop round.
Wishing you all a great week.0 -

Another one with a gain here - though it was my birthday and I've now repaired most of the damage.
Only 6 weeks to go till my holidays now so am determined to stick with it. I'll weigh in and post on Saturday, regardless of the outcome.
I'm so glad this thread is here to keep me on track xx0 -
Not posted for a few days, I had a 3 day fast then went a bit crazy as soon as I saw pizza & cake. despite that minor blip I lost 2lbs so quite jubilant. Need to keep it up and incorporate a bit more high intensity workouts. I bashed my knee a treat on my bed so have been taking it easy at the gym.
Does anyone else have much success exercising at home? I would love to incorporate some dynamic stretching into my daily routing, especially on days when I dont get to the gym.
Keep up the good work everyone,
