  • There was no nails or anything visible when I looked and nothing around that I could see either. Aparantly there was no children around him he was by himself.

There was no hinges or anything around I felt every part of the box and it was smooth. No blood stains or anything.

When did you check for blood stains? Before or after they had vacuumed ?

  • They said they had removed the dressing up box after we had left for the hospital and put it in a cupboard. She then set it up like it was when he feel the next day. I looked all around the box and there was no blood stains or anything. And she said that the kids that where in that day wasn't allowed to go in that area as it was all blocked off. There was loads of stuff on the floor so looked like it hasn't been cleaned or hoovered so I'm taken it they didn't clean it. There was not blood anywhere to be seen I thought if he had hit his ear on the box then the wood would of soaked up the blood but there wasn't anything.
  • I haven't read the whole of this thread so excuse me if this has already been brought up.....but you say one carer was making snack and the other asked him to get off the box...he said no....then she walked away and left him?! This would be my only cause for concern!! Accidents happen and it could well have been the case that no member of staff had seen the incident, but there is no excuse to leave a child in a position that the carer clearly saw as unsafe!!
