Well its not going so well now.

Her mum just turned up very drunk yelling abuse about my husband and telling me to stay away from her daughter, she is now sat in her friends car outside my house waiting for my husband to get home.

Man alive, that sounds exactly like my OH's ex wife!

Do as advised OP ad ignore her. These people kick off for a reaction and when they don't get it, they tend to get bored.

    Goodness.

Is the step daughter ok do you know op? She might be getting it at home if her mother is feeling 'hard done by' over the success of her being accepted by you all.

I would consider calling the police, to at least get the incident of harassment recorded.

Hope you're all ok, you're handling all this very gracefully OP. A good example for all the children.

  • Well she had calmed down a bit when he got home. She came in and ended up crying her eyes out to him. I left them alone but he said afterwards she is scared she will loose her daughter. He did his best to reassure her she won't.

Called my step daughter and she came over too and the 3 of them talked for a while. Dh said it was really weird. It was weird for me too, I guess I felt excluded a bit by part of his life I'm not a part of.

Lets just hope this doesn't happen often x

The original post is by glitter_fairy but in post 56 she replies under the Glitter girl id.

This doesn't mean anything per se but it is odd to be posting under 2 id's at the same time.

For some reason it seems quite common at the moment. I noticed it on another thread the other day. Not sure why you would do it unless you were posting something exceedingly identifiable or controversial.
