I've found the best way to kill the battery life is to leave wifi on. Turning it off does wonders for it.s3 battery life....
took it off charge at 7am, switched on bluetooth for an hour or so on my journey to work. reached work, normally check mail, use gmail talk with wife throughout the day, occasionally go on FB during lunch hours or break. Leave work at 5pm, switched on bluetooth for an hour or so with music streaming to car.
around 7pm, use phone whilst putting son to bed, FB, news, games for around 30 to 60 minutes. By the time I go to bed at 10pm, normally around 40% battery left still.0 -
Definetely iPhone5
I recently bought mine at a very good price (from XXXXXXXX ). I must admit i was tempted to buy an S3, but i`ve choosen iPhone5, and i`m glad i did it! I`m in love with this phone! It works perfectly!
I can't help but think this is SPAM. All posts by this author mention the same retailer. I've marked it.0 -
I'd get the iPhone 5. After having both, I'd say it's definitely the better phone. Coupled with the amount of problems my partner has had with his S3, I'd avoid it. It's definitely worth paying a bit more for an Apple device as they are much nicer and easier to use.0

What is your main use, if you use the web alot the bigger screen is a no brainer so S3 gets my vote. My wife has a Note as she uses phone 90% for web surfing so that overrides all other considerations.
So are you mainly email, apps, web, social networking this will help target recommendations.0 -

I wouldn't say it's that clear cut. I use my phone predominantly for web browsing and I'd pick the iPhone 5 over my Nexus 4 or HTC 8X for that purpose.0 -
Bag for buck on both hardware and contract, its pretty clear cut. S3 wins hands down. Would I get the S3? No I'll be going for the nexus 4 as I've stayed in other threads.
You need to consider value too. I'd say the iPhone is much better value because the OS is so much better, even if the S3 is cheaper. If all you care about is price, you'd be better served with a £50 PAYG.0 -

Why in your opinion is iOS better than Android?
Another point to consider is resale value of the handset. iPhones hold their value pretty well and will almost certainly be worth more than any other similarly aged handset come trade-in or sale time.0
