I have a very tasty recipe for a stuffed marrow. Remind me in the autumn and I'll find it for you.

In other news, we've got snow forecast for this weekend. Again.

oh, and I have no idea about leeks. I have no idea about anything, to be fair.

It's all getting traumatic again, isn't it?

My leeks look like that every flippin year no matter what i try doing with them.
I've tried 4 years running and they never get no bigger. In my experience they won't grow.
However it won't stop me trying again this year!

I don't like marrows. :( They take an enormous amount of space which I am loath to part with, and they're not in my top 1000 things I like to eat..

I've an old country recipe for marrow rum, made properly and imbibed imprudently you won't care who won what rugby/marrow competition

Oh, and I've finally got round to returning my wandering raspberry canes back in their original spot. Just need to summon the enthusiasm to clean and disinfect the greenhouse now and then I'm good to grow. :o

Not very well, anyway. Team formed in 1949 and didn't get a win until 1963. You currently have a 35% win rate, mostly over Austria, it would appear. :p.

Thanks MBE I didn't know that I actually didn't think we even played it. I know we have a cricket team every single player is of Pakistani orgin.

Was due to put my greenhouse together today but its too wet and likely to be the same tomorrow. Got the 2 tier staging assembled without killing DH. My friends are going to put it together on Friday while I am not even at home, its nice to have friends like that.

In other news I might be able to spend a lot more time gardening as I need to take voluntary redundancy from work. Sadly I am only 42 so need to look for something else.

Now we're talking! Please post the recipe - I think it would make it all worthwhile. :D
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll find something nice and flexible with plenty of time for pottering in that greenhouse. :)
