 You're very late. Have you got a note?
Let's be having some photos of what you're working with, and then I'll let you know if you can play.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Dear Mr MBE
Sorry I am late to the party. Surgery causes unfortunate delays, but all efforts are being made to catch up with the rest of the world
Not as good as other pics I've seen, but I'm quite pleased with it as a starterI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Couldn't fine any beans or carrot seed but found some lettuce - Little Gem - so sowed a few seeds, starting them off in greenhouse after fighting my way to the potting bench past loads of things that don't belong to me. Husband thought he had discovered a new storage workshop - not for much longer.
My greenhouse chair has disappeared!!!!0 -

Ok, your note is accepted - you can play.
Your tomatoes and chillis look great. :TIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Glad you did, some nice pictures you posted.
Day 4 of the shed did not go according to plan, circular saw decided to smoke then catch fire  this whilst part way through a large chipboard flooring sheet, which smouldered.
Long and boring story short we have planks for flooring cut with the chop saw.
Still to do the front wall, door and roof supports, then the turf roof.
I do have pics but will post before and after ones when it's finished.
Done naff all gardening (painting the living room windows today) other than watch in amazement how quickly the parsnip leaves have grown, picked more strawberries than we can eat, the raspberries are going into overdrive and I can't pick them fast enough, cherry tree in pot full of almost ready to eat cherries, courgettes have finally put out female flowers and the recently sown broad beans are growing like mad.
Anything that should have flowers does but is in need of feeding.0 -
Right - you need to nag me. I will spend ALL DAY in the garden tomorrow and will take photos to post this weekend. That is a promise. I may have a break for the Murray game though.
Also, MBE, I thought you might like to know that aubergine plants have lovely lilac flowers....;)0 -
Evening All, I wonder if any of you can identify these plants for me please?
When I opened my Hotbin a few weeks ago there were some really big shoots coming up so I decided to take them out and plant them up to see if they would continue to grow, which they have. Problem is, I have no idea what they are, DD threw pepper seeds, melon seeds and lots of other things in that week but I can't seem to identify them?

This is what they looked like when I rescued them!

I've not posted for ages, having been busy marking exam papers to buy DD2 a car! Garden coming on a treat. In the greenhouse my tomato plants have done better than expected and now I have too many. Aubergines and cucumbers coming along fine. My strawberries are just beginning to ripen and the courgettes have lots of flowers as have the broad and french beans. I'm looking forward to lots of summer veg. My fruit trees seem to have a lot more fruit this year (fourth year in I think) and they are holding on to it. So overall I'm feeling pretty pleased:jBooks - the original virtual reality.

Joined the Blight Watch and got first email yesterday which said :- Warning: Near Miss Period.
What do they mean by that? Have my spuds had a close call? Only had blight here once about 35yrs ago and these are in flower so will be out in a couple of weeks.0 -
Moments of Sanity - they look a bit like nasturtiums to me.0
