Forgot to mention, bowls match inevitably cancelled.
Never before in my life have I experienced a match cancelled because of snow!
That's why I'm glad we don't start outside until 14th April. Still got one more to play indoors. Entered 2 leagues and we've won one and need to win next Fri to win the other.:j

Welcome, and good luck with the pumpkins. I tried to grow Atlantic Giant once. I got this:

    How much hasn't germinated?

The trouble with sowing in modules that are all joined together is that if you move one, you have to move them all, so if they germinate at different speeds you've potentially got problems.

Definitely not the last option - everything'll dry out. If you're prepared to re-sow, leave it on. They'll probably be ok, but you might cook some. If the stuff that's germinated is irreplaceable, then take what you've got and turn it off.

    I think. :undecided

If you've got a plug in timer, I'd use that to bring it on during the day and open the vents halfway or prop the lid slightly to help reduce the chance of damping off.

I agree about having different stuff in the same propagator but I will not grow too many of each plant this year and end up not being able to pot it on. Need to buy many more pots for the green house for this purpose and the good news is I am getting two more shelves for free. Been a bit of a saga with the shelves as for the hexagonal one you need a different shape and I asked Waltons if they were the right ones they had on their website to add to the order. Even sent them a picture of the ones i wanted.

They claimed they had checked with the importers but of course they were wrong. Well 3 were wrong the other two plus the staging was lovely.

Lots of emails later importers are taking the 3 back (even though they have been opened) and Walton are refunding me for all staging and shelving (£104 when it should only be £36) plus best of all the importers are sending two proper ones for free. Worth the emails.

Sown a few more things indoors and in the greenhouse. Trying to start off peas in greenhouse and some basil indoors now. Will see how we go. Seems slow to germinate but I am poss a bit impatient.

Sounds like you've done quite well. Sometimes I actually quite like it when suppliers mess up, as the chance of a big discount is quite good. :D

Think our monday league is a similar start date.
Saturday league games don't start til the week after easter. We seem to have some pointless cup caps bolted on prior to the actual start. Usually this just results in people grumbling it is too cold/early to start the season.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
