MBE have you got frog spawn this year?
No.And I am a bit worried that I've dug the pond in a poor spot. It's in shade most of the day from the fence and the shed, so the frogs might not think it a suitable location. Time will tell, I guess.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Is it the weather or the build quality? :whistle:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

No snow here, just checked my propergator no a lot happening but I only brought it in last week. My friend gave me some peas she had sown. Way too early and she has put 5 in each pot, really silly and they were so pot bound it was hard to get them out. Tasted nice the pea shoots but dont think they will make it.
My magnolia tree is loving the greenhouse its about to open it buds. Still only got 1 bag with potatoes in its just too cold.
Need to clean the algee of the patio, seal some joints in the greenhouse with silecon and seal the bottom of it with foam to stop the water coming in from the bottom.
Too cold will have to wait.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi all, I'm another lurker on this thread so want to join in
I haven't really done much this year, planted my garlic and onions set before Christmas, garlic have all gone think they rotted, some onions are coming up tho.We have had far too much rain but not much snow at all.
I have had a picking of rhubarb already which was very nice, I have 2 plants but one I moved last year so wont take too much off that one.
My green house is pretty full with tubs that I over winter and as they keep saying its going to get colder, I want to leave them inside.
Last year was such a disappointment, Im wary of planting again, the soil is horrible here (Devon Red) I have 3 compost bins on the go, and will soon be emptying them.
The one thing I want is Frog spawn, Had a wildlife pond for over 12 months but no sign of frogs coming as yet. We have another pond but that has fish in so keep that covered otherwise the seagulls will have a lovely dinner.Treat other's how you like to be treated.

Refuse to drive in this weather, so I still haven't bought any compost. In fact, I still haven't ordered the new greenhouse covers!
Once again, review things in a week....
