I would just like to post my good news. Virgin have decided to settle my claim with interest and the court fee. I had earlier in the week offered them to settle with only 50% interest. Our letters crossed so I am one happy bunny. Thank you for your help and advice.0

Does anyone have any updates from last weeks court hearings relating to VS074 June 13 25hr delay Orlando to Manchester.
I have my court date coming up in January and would like to know if it's worth carrying on with the fight or wasting my money ?
Any updates would be greatly appreciated0 -
Originally rejected by Virgin, complained to CAA and was told they had sent it back to Virgin and would here back in 8 weeks - this was at the beginning of Oct - Today we have received cheques!
Flight number VS0015 on the 10/5/12 Gatwick to Orlando. Received the full €600 amount.
Of the 6 of us on the flight we have received cheques for the 4 adults but not the 2 children - I am right in assuming if a child has a paid seat they are entitled to the compensation as well?
Well after a long wait and going through CAA and with new guidelines, this morning 4 cheques appeared
VS15 10th May 2012. 2 Adults and 2 Children.
:j  Very very happy indeed.
To everyone who has helped and provided information, thank you. Lawe :wave:0 -
Hi all thought I'd post my success and thank all that have given me advice, without this forum I'd never have gone this far!
I settled at mediation for flight vs016 on the 22nd June Orlando to gatwick.
I settled for a little less than the full amount which was great as I didn't really want to go to court. The claim was for myself my wife and 3 kids.
The mediation was simple and relaxed and I'm glad it was sorted.
Thanks again. Darren0 -
22nd June this year Psaila?
We settled out of court on that one too for slightly less
I'm glad it's sorted.0 -

It also states that the 2 cases listed for durham have been transferred to Horsham but all others remain at local court, is this true also?
Hey Haslehurst it's robster. received a letter today saying my court date in Rotherham has been adjourned and transferred to Horsham as well....once again they quote 10 other cases....it's got be more than that....Are we getting a coach up ?0
