Which means you tell Jet2 that unless they cough up 2 weeks you will be taking legal action for recovery. It part of civil procedure rules (not that anyone is inclined to be "civil" to Jet2)northwest1965 wrote: »Notice before Action

Hi everyone
I sent my letter to Jet2 using the template on here for a flight last June, due to leave Manchester at 4pm, then we had to go from East Midlands at 11.30pm - they have replied back refusing to deal with my issue, because I no longer have the original email or booking confirmation. All the information they have requested - date of travel, booking ref etc I have been able to provide, along with a print out from the Jet2 website showing my past and upcoming flights, but they say due to new procedures they can't process my claim because I havent provided the requested information! Has anyone come across this? Can they do this? Thanks for any advice0 -
Sounds like you have proved you were on the flight, when you book/ check in you have to provide passport no etc (for security), they certainly will still have that information. write back saying you have proved you were on the flight, certainly to a level that would convince a district judge, so please acknowledge or I will be forced to issue a LBA. After all the airlines weren't actually paying compensation at that time, and certainly weren't advertising the fact that they might have to, so why would anyone keep old emails or other bits of paper?Hi everyone

And while you are at it throw a SAR at em, Worth the £10.
Can you not log onto the Jet2 website and download booking from there? Mine was still there 2 years later. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

yes Centi you are correct, I am just a placid kind of bloke, still think that the courts look more favourably on cases if the claimant comes across as reasonable , more than confrontational. But that is probably why I am still fighting on after nearly 12 months. Don't get me wrong, I would much rather go and throw a few bricks through TCs windows than bother with this court lark, but that's civilisation for you.Keep up the good work:)Centipede100 wrote: »Why write again?!!! Hiya, yeah I printed my flight details off their own website and included it with my letter, and apparently it's not good enough!! Thanks for the advice!0 -

Hi Centipede
Are there any NBA templates on here, or do I have to get it sent from someone on my behalf? Sorry for all the questions, had a look on google but don't know where to start!
Thanks0 -
EU claim have transfered my case over to Bott & Co in Wilmslow. Fingers crossed they have more luck than me! x0

Hi
I'm new to these forums and there seems a lot to read through.
I am trying to contact anyone who was on the flights LS257 or LS258 on 21st September 2011.
LS257 departure delayed 7hrs 4 mins from LBA
LS257 arrival at PMI 6 hours 53mins late
LS258 from PMI to LBA was delayed similarly
I've been writing to Jet2 since 24th September 2011 and still they deny responsibility. I am considering taking them to court, so other people with me could help advise on the best way to do this.
