Just follow Vaubans guide, issue the NBA, then submit form N1, trust me, it's quite enjoyable once you get into the swing of things.

I'm think I'm angry at their attitude, to be honest. They must know by now that that defense doesn't work and they're still trotting it out in an obvious attempt to get customers to give up.
You're right though. I need to get cracking with everything else, now.0 -
With regard to the "vacating" of cases, mine was vacated to Liverpool pending the Allen case result. Your original judge is still able to make a decision should your case not be heard but is dependant on the result of the "test case" being heard. You can then either contact the defendants direct to ask for them to review your case should the outcome of the test case support your case, or you can contact your initial judge to revisit and make a decision on your case citing the vacated case results. No additional hearing fee is required if you have already paid it once.0

And the sad fact is that their tactic works, most do give up with the very first fob off letter this came out in the Liverpool Allen case, if you want to know more about that have a read of the thread:- https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5182256
Jet2 talked about a three bucket system where they have effectively ever decreasing bundles, at each stage of fob off letters.

I get my hearing fee back as it's seven days before the hearing, I'll have to pay it again if I ask for another hearing but with the two-year defence out of the way (hopefully) I don't mind, it makes no difference in the end.
I was under the impression it was vacated as opposed stayed because there is not a definitive appeal case pending, so it's sort of open-ended.0 -
got another letter from jet2 today .... expected a cheque for my partner but all I got was a fob off.... case has to researched and investigated and will take time as they do it all in date order etc.... ridiculous since his name is on all my documents and I got my cheque.......... we should eventually win but not holding my breath anytime soon0

Some advice needed please.
I asked my daughter to see if she couldn't push them on Twitter in to a better response on a more public platform. They've responded now and asked if she wouldn't mind DMing them about the issue with the details ect.
Is this a good thing to do? Will it impact negatively if the case ends up going further?0 -

Best thing to do at the moment with Jet2 is to follow Vaubans guide, I've heard a few cases of them paying without legal action, but personally I'd issue an NBA. That gives them time to pay if they want to.

Interesting question. I don't know the answer, can you be accused of influencing a case in a civil court?
You could get their back up, but that won't make any difference, they can only make legal argument in court.0 -
“ Hi all,
After some advice please, I filed a claim to Jet2 on Sept 2014 using the template on. I received a response letter from customer care on the 30th of Sept acknowledging receipt of the correspondence stating that they would be dealing with the claim in strict date order.
That was the last correspondence I received and was wondering whether I should now follow up with another letter or sit tight and wait.
I appreciate any help you may be able to give me with this issue.
Thanks

Have a read of Vaubans excellent guide, then issue a NBA, you have been patient, and the longer you sit and wait, the longer you're giving them to forget about you.
Get tough, and if they want to settle, then they have the opportunity before you commence Court proceedings.
