Will you be going to Manchester as our representative and roving reporter Novice?

I am happy to start a donation thread to fund your expenses and I have no doubt that Dr. W. will donate some of his old surgical appliances for auction to help boost the fund.

Just issued proceedings myself against Jet2 and have just had the defence. There is a common theme on the threads about 2 year limitation in the T&Cs. I'm aware of an interesting case that's deals with that issue but as a newby I can't post the link!!

I am going to be in court fighting this very issue as it's basically all they have left.

I haven't got a date yet but it has been allocated, not stayed, although they did try, but I wrote and objected.

Can a Scottish case have any influence in an english court, anyone know?

Persuasive is the language I'd use

Thanks, but will the judge not just say it has no bearing on the case.

Only in the same way as Allen has no bearing on any other case, it becomes highly persuasive. The County Court ruling does not create a precedent that other DJ's HAVE to follow, but hopefully they will.

The Scottish case is less persuasive then Allen, but still persuasive.
