Hi Dr Watson I read your excellent account of dealing with Dublin and I want to ask about the NWNF company bit because we put our claim against Condor into their hands and after 5 months they said since Condor haven't accepted the claim the are going to hand the case back to you.
The (Legal?) company is not called claim-delay.co.uk but it should be.
I would like to know of a NWNF that will actually take out a writ.
We did win a claim against Caribbean Air and it is no writ no pay.
It would be bad buisiness practice to pay if you don't have to.

    Jack Plane,
You are a bit vague with details about your 'case', but if you have a legitimate claim and are looking for a NWNF company, like I've said before on here, I'd be looking at the guys who have seen it, done it, and deserve much credit still, for their work in the Huzar and Dawson cases.
If you're going the NWNF route your next step is to 'Google' our good friends Bott and Co.

It certainly isn't damages, and this has been argued against and won before.

What next for RA's T's and C's wording?
How do we think they are going to try and wriggle around this and the precedents set by Huzar and Dawson respectively?
Answers on a post to the Ryanair forum please!

Does anyone know of a website where you can see the aircraft stats for a particular day? I am looking for aircraft number of a particular flight because our aircraft was swapped to another flight so that they could go and leave us behind.

Just wanted to check if possible to do so.

We await the verdict, but what the bloody hell is an 'expert from the CAA' going to be there for?
Ah of course, he/she will be there to uphold the law and the regulation, and use the powers it has to bring Ryanair to task...

What do you mean No, what's the point then?!

  • hi , we were affected by the delay . We arrived at 3pm and flew at 12.05 AM !! 9 hours in my book ? Happy to join in ! We have had exactly the same treatment so far - I'm just asking their Number and Category of 'extraordinary circumstances ' - it surely MUST be legally registered with some Aviation Authority ? Anybody know who ? Two or three of us obtained a Ryanair headed statement at the airport desk quoting ' due to Ryanair operations ' !
How do we communicate ? Can we use eMail addresses or phone numbers on this Forum , I'm new to it !! Peter.

Not a good idea to put your email address on a public forum, spammers trawl through looking for them.

You can use the private message facility on this forum to contact specific posters without revealing private information to one and all.
The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.
